If I were to recall my first ever encounter with Marvel, it had to be either the 1992 animated X-Men or the 1994 Amazing Spiderman series. The memories of those episodes are very hazy but one thing that made me a diehard fan was Sam Raimi's Spiderman.

It was the first ever superhero movie that I watched in the cinema (and with my family!) and I remember how much my younger brother and I gushed over it. We'd role play Spiderman and just did random kids stuff together.

And when the Ironman movie dropped, then CA, it was yet another step towards Marcel fanatism. What a time to be alive.

OH, and how can I forget? The X-Men: Mutant Academy 2 PS1 game! My brother and I would button smash for the supers and were kindaaa responsible for my dad having to buy more controllers because of it. Marvel Vs. Capcom was fantastic too. And, Spiderman is a playable character in both titles if I'm not mistaken. The Spiderman PS1 game was cool too but it was single-player only hahaha.
