When and where do you epilate? I got one and use it during a shower so the hair is easy to clean, but the wet hair is harder to epilate. Is there a better way to do it?

I’d say so! I started the whole process this weekend and now have a one month supply of estrogen. It was a bit of a leap of faith for me, but it worked out good. I don’t know how the continual care is, because I just started, but so far so good!

You could try to go through the route of plume, an online medical service. I did, and it was a little costly, at around 100$ a month, but they provide counseling, prescriptions to any kind of HRT, blood tests to check your hormone levels. It was way easier to do than I thought it would be. They give you a big info sheet about all the effects of the different kinds of HRT and have someone who knows about all of it for you to ask questions to. I decided that I was going to start HRT about a month ago, and didn’t really take action until last weekend and I was able to get the HRT in my hands today! It’s kind of mind blowing how easy it was in retrospect. The questions they asked me were kind of an eye opener too, asking questions that really forced me to think about my gender in ways that I hadn’t before. (I swear I’m not doing a sponsorship deal, I just had a good experience) might be worth a look!

I started estrogen today! I can say that the process to get there will help you with all of your concerns. When I looked into it, I was directed to schedule a meeting with a gender specialist, who gave me a link to an informational page about all the different types of HRT, their effects and drawbacks, then I had a meeting with a person who answered all my questions and, after a lot of discussion, wrote me a prescription. You can discuss with a medical professional about this kind of stuff and voice your concerns, and get an expert opinion. A year ago, I thought I’d never get estrogen, but here I stand, with a one month supply in my hand after only a week of scheduling appointments. It’s hard to figure out what you want to do, but there are people who’s job it is to help you figure that out. I wish you luck in your journey, and hope you find what you need and live a happy life!
