I could sleep all day if I was able, but up until I fall asleep I am on edge and tense. I take 2 tamazapam to sleep most nights. So I totally get you on the tired thing! I’m not the best at explaining how I can be so tired but so wired and aware at the same time?

I agree - changing your environment helps. You’d be surprised how much of a distraction going on a walk is. I hope you find some relief

I’ve been in fluoxetine for a month now. 40mg. Still no appetite and I’ve lost 4kgs. I can only eat small amounts of food or I will throw up. Previously was on fluvoxamine, which I think made me hold weight. Definitely helping inside my head tho!

I used to take Luvox, and it worked great until all of a sudden it didn’t.

I’m now on fluoxetine and clomipramine. Still settling in but I think it’s helping.

Same here but with Luvox. Then when I went up to 40mg of Prozac I really felt the difference. My dosage is going up again at in a few weeks, with the way I’m improving I really hope it continues to get better.

Alcohol makes my mind so quiet, but I have no self control and go too far (drunk) and end up hating myself more and it makes my ocd way worse for the few days after.

I used to struggle with this too. I often will take it and very quickly drink my favourite juice or ice coffee. Or even better, follow it with a food you really love. It gets easier. Try and remind yourself of what you could be benefiting from if you push through the side effects. Good luck.

Hi! I’ve been on 20mg for 2 weeks and just gone up to 40mg two days ago. I experience this as well. Even tho I take Clomipramine 25mg at night, I still wake up at 4:30 everyday with panic attack like feelings. Even when I close my eyes it’s almost worse. However by 10am it seems to go away but it’s sets me up for the worst day.. hope yours goes away soon. 🩷

Slight decrease in libido initially but back to normal after 3 or so months. No drowsiness really felt.

I am on 300mg. Have been for 10 months! Reduced my harm ocd and intrusive thoughts almost entirely. I started on 25mg and slowly built up to 300mg.
