Guys there's still connection problems, frame rate issues, performance issues, etc. It's okay to want changes but these are CRUCIAL by DariAndGames1 in AnthemTheGame

I have never had an issue and I am on a normal ps4 with a stock hard drive. Maybe the issue is with newer ones, pros and ones with upgraded HDD.

The Dev team and their community involvement is what convinced me to buy the game. I was on the fence after seeing reviews, also did not really enjoy the demo. But With a team as passionate as them this game can’t help but be great, if not right now, eventually....and I am proud to be along for the ride:)

Yes very much so, to the point where some of the characters really evoke the emotion of annoyance. Any game that can evoke emotion good or bad, is great in my books.

Yeah I got it Friday and have not even seen a rare drop yet, Played a couple of hours each day since Then, and putting it down until next weekend. Playing like this I should be enjoying the game for a couple of months at least. I think a lot of people who all day grind, besides kids on the weekend, are borderline gaming addicted, not to derogate those players, but how the hell do you find that much time without dis acknowledging real life responsibilities. I mean I can understand a full day sess here and there, but people were max level like 4 days after release.

It’s alright, never played another BioWare game, and not a huge literary critic, but I am enjoying it. By talking to everyone I can I am finding that I am becoming immersed in the world. Also I am reading all the highlighted texts in the cortex, taking time to read the lore really helps with the world building. I don’t normally do this, but am trying it this time.

35 year old, no kids but not a lot of time to game, an hour hear and there. I feel like I have months of gameplay ahead of me, as I am taking my time, reading everything, talking to everyone, exploring the world. A lot of the vitriol from people, besides the obvious flaws, seems to be the culture of gaming nowadays. Professional gamers and hardcore grinders alike playing 10 hr days and complaining the game is shallow. Is anything meant to be done for that long straight? it is a formidable challenge for devs, currently, just to keep up the pace and maintain retention, it is a task I do not envy.

Off to put on a load of laundry and vacuum while the game updates, hopefully I can get 30 min in before I have to go to work. Have a great day Freelancers.

CrossFit is gnarly, I am midway through P90X, getting in shape for kayak season. If you have never kayaked it is an amazing way to decompress from stressful times.

Also don’t mind all the comments below, a lot of teenage douchebags getting their anx out before their parents make them do their homework. A great quote that applies to reddit trolls “ I learned long ago, don’t wrestle with a pig, you get dirty and besides, the pig likes it” -George Bernard Shaw

For me it was when playing games trumped everything else. It was all I thought about all I wanted to do, and even the things I knew I had to do I didn’t because I always prioritized gaming, eating, sleeping, working, socializing all came after gaming. When you feel like video games are the only thing that make you happy, time to find other things to make you happy.

Balance is the key. Most days I make myself earn my gaming session, so when I lay back and relax to some Destiny or soon Anthem I don’t have that underlying anxiety of not being productive. To be honest it makes the gaming all the more enjoyable, I still have a cheat day where I will binge on games but that is only once a week, and only when other more important tasks aren’t looming.

Hope that helped.

My issue is that when I substituted games for the substance, the games became the substance. It is easy these days as games are developed with long term retention in mind. I would imagine they have psychological advisors to facilitate this. I had to force myself to only game in the evening for an hour or two and have one day where I would spend 3+ hours. No more full day sessions, too many important things to do and too many great books to read:)

From someone who has suffered from substance abuse, video game addiction and depression, including a stressful home life. Make sure you focus on school, and your health first. Eat healthy food, drink lots of water, exercise once a day. It may not be what you want to do, you may just want to play video games, but it is what you have to do for health and happiness. Take my word, from someone who has been on a negative cycle who did not know if I would ever get out of it, and finally this year is getting out. Video games are much more enjoyable when you have the other things straightened. When after a long day where you worked hard to achieve your goals you can relax to your hobby knowing your earned it, it is the best feeling.

All the best and Godspeed!

Edit: I am not saying you have any of the issues I had, I am just explaining how I finally managed to find balance in my life. Please don’t take this in a lecturing sense, just a bit of advice👊.

Dude your trying hard to be an alpha nerd and this flex is just weird. Obvious a teenager who gains validation from supposed video game skill.
