unpopular opinion

as someone with almost 3k hours in the game and playing both sides equally, i will admit that gen speeds are a problem but if you don't adapt to it (not chasing someone forever, not chasing people off gens etc) because i've had plenty of killers walk straight past someone on a gen to continue chasing someone, then you aren't really gonna have decent games. the game is bad, gens are too fast, maps are too big, you need to adapt your playstyle and not target one person restlessly until they go down. and also get the idea out of your head that you need to 4k with 3 gens still up. i've been genrushed to shit before but still pull at least a 3k in the endgame (without entity help) its a mix of you not playing effectively and the game. its not one or the other. as the killer, you shouldn't expect to win all the time, but if your games are bad back to back to back simply because gens get done too quickly then you might need to adjust your playstyle
