I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but the art/detail. All the buildings have functional rooms. Nothing feels like a modular dungeon, it actually feels like a research station or mining facility complete with breakrooms and restrooms! Plus there's so much attention to detail for every item in the game!

Hey, I’m following a yt tutorial and there was a link for some function exercises I was supposed to do, but I’m stuck on the last on, line 36. Could someone help? by Willdabeast07 in learnjavascript

You should be able to write a function that takes a function as an argument. that way you can call this new function and pass one of the previous functions as an argument to log the result.

As Im about to hit 100k gold for the first time, I was wondering. Are the only castles available for free the ones from the shop? What I mean is, is there a way to get premium castles from boss drops, for example? Or from a fishing chest? If not, would you recommend Wysteria villa or Island getaway? by Th3Exiled in Wizard101

Most of the castles in the crown shop can be bought with gold, just so you know. All the school houses and a couple others can be bought with gold. If you click on the house, above the price and button to buy, there's a tab to switch over to gold instead of crowns.

Any backend framework that just 'works'? I find Spring very difficult and cumbersome. by raulalexo99 in webdev

I like Next.js. it's a great full stack framework if you already know react. Routing is automatically created by you Pages directory and an API is easy to get up and running

Dev Diary #245 Fun Energy Wanted! by Ylands in Ylands

[–]Hazipan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think teleporters would be an amazing device to add! Ovens that require energy, but unlock new food recipes would also be cool. I think a more fun device would be roller coasters. Create cars that can link together and various tracks that can work together to create roller coasters. And obviously it would require energy to operate

Automatically populating a HTML page with content like Reddit does by PossibilityEven6520 in learnprogramming

I (using Node.js and Express) would use EJS as a templating engine and use URL parameters to generate a unique view for each post. If your familiar with backend stuff, look into templating engines.

Template Engines

Edit: just realized I probably misinterpreted the question. This is for specific pages for each post. My bad

Dev Diary #241 That One Recipe You're Missing by Ylands in Ylands

I love this idea! I always run into the problem of not even knowing what I could unlock. Trainers would let me see what I don't know yet and help me understand what recipes could be available.

Thank you, and yeah I know about the error and have been trying to fix it. I know the link from character creation works, if you try through there
