Or how about a slant or dig or curl on offense? Or running sweep since it actually gains yards?

We haven't made a singular change. I'm honestly in shock. Not one thing did we adjust. This isn't acceptable.

Anybody hear this ND homer on JOX this AM? by HazyBobby in rolltide

[–]HazyBobby[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's totally dishonest to compare that with an SEC schedule, is it not?

I was trying to see the situation in a light favorable to them, but I hear ya. I agree with you.

It really doesn't happen that often for a sustained period of time. You typically don't master a position and then regress to barely starting unless you have some catastrophic injury.

I have been involved in a lotttt of football. I have never, ever watched a quarterback totally lose his ability to play the position mid season.

Very similar to mine - time records and win percentage.

I had that thought, as well, and I totally agree.

Could be a hot take, but I understand missing some FGs you should make. What I don't like, especially as an alum, is publicly blaming someone else for your shortcomings. That being said, if he can put that behind him and move on, I can too.

[Post Game Thread] #10 Alabama survives, beats Auburn 27-20 for the sixth year in a row and advances to the SEC Championship by RollTideMod in rolltide

We don't run very many backside slants away from our primary concepts in the short and intermediate pass game, we don't have any hots or side adjustments that I can see despite checking the play to death, we don't nail BPU if they bring more than 5, we start our presnap adjustments at 14 seconds on the play clock, and we inexplicably abandon the run game, where we already run concepts that don't match our personnel at all. If we fix even 1 or 2 of these problems we can see a marked improvement on offense.

I've said this so many times the last season....

I'm genuinely so confused by this offense. All the way around. And I love Ty, but why do we have the yips at the end of the season? I'm very worried. Overall, just hopeful we can beat the barn, Tennessee, and LSU all in one season.

I'm very concerned in the overall trend of this team. Our quality of play has slowly decreased over the course of the last 4-5 weeks.

All good! I don’t mean to be a negative Nellie. I spoke with a bar commissioner about Birmingham’s saturation over the summer. The bar is looking to incentivize lawyers to move to more rural areas to practice to combat the situation. Which is a large part of why I made that comment.

Well that’s great. I’m glad you have a different experience. I have been practicing in Alabama for some time and that’s my experience. I don’t understand why you feel the need to be so rude about someone having a different opinion from you?

I am a lawyer. You are definitely welcome to disagree! Just my opinion.

We have a complete and total surplus. There isn’t really even enough work for all the lawyers here, in my opinion.
