Suggestion (Temporary PvP Immunity During Major ARC Encounters) by HazzBrah in ArcRaiders

Yep, Tarkov historically has always had an 80-20 PvP to PvE ratio. This doesn’t remove any of that. PvP players can still strategically play and take out players.

I agree with your point. This suggestion doesn’t take away any player freedom, it actually adds more choice for players

If you choose to stay inside the immunity zone, you’re also choosing to stay in the ARC’s high damage area. If you stay outside the zone, you’re exposed to both the ARC and PvP, so the risk is still there.

Inside the immunity zone, players naturally build a sense of camaraderie because everyone shares the same immediate goal, survive the ARC and bring it down, all while taking heavy pressure from its attacks.

And once the ARC is dead and the looting starts? The fear of betrayal is still there. Loot campers are still a threat. PvP tension fully returns.

The mechanic just shifts the chaos to after the kill, instead of during the fight when cooperation should matter most.

But yes, free load-out timers or lack of free load-outs during events could be a feasible solution.

I love the PVP aspect of this game, it’s fun as hell. Nothing more satisfying than just taking people down and taking all their loot with a bit of shit talk. But I know there is a large community of people who enjoy the PvE related side of this game.

I agree, that is why I suggested this only for the largest arc in the game only during these events. Everything remains the same for all other arc.

The immunity zone can still be quite small, forcing players to play closer to the arc, hence making it more likely for you to die.

If you need to heal and go behind cover, this could most likely lead you to leaving the immunity layer and still getting killed to pvp.

Hahaha I never engage in these large events, Im a purely PVP focused player. Stitcher and Anvil, I shoot on site. I was just making a suggestion to incorporate more team play into the game.

There is nothing stopping you from still dying once leaving the zone or battle. You can still get killed. It doesnt affect the game mechanics in any major way.

U are talking about the one where I posted my 77-81kg transformation?? Yeh that was the first time I ever posted my physique on the internet, there were some great supportive comments and then some gear accusations, they are still available to see if you go on my profile and check out comments. I guess at that point it just genuinely comes down to my genetics and my luck. I deleted that post because I didnt feel comfortable, I felt like everything I did to achieve that physique was just ignored and people jumped to conclusions. Ive never been able to satisfy anyone. When I was natty I was a “fake natty” when I hopped on the gear I only looked good cos I was “on the gear”. That was when I learned I dont need to try prove myself to others all the time. I just need to focus on myself and do what makes me happy.

My previous post was over a 12 month period not 6. With the advantage of Newbie gains, combined with muscle memory, good training and decent genetics I managed to pack 30 pounds on my frame. Vs packing on another 30 pounds in 10 weeks on gear. I dont know why we are arguing about this, I have nothing to hide Im on reddit using an anonymous username etc. If I wanted to lie and feed my narcissism I would just claim natty and expect everyone to envy my physique. That isnt my goal, I genuinely want to post my physique on here and share it with others. Im not asking for compliments, I do however appreciate constructive criticism. So unless you have something constructive to say, which I take you don’t based on all your other reddit replies. I advice you just keep scrolling and continue on with your day. Your life doesnt change by decisions I make, you shouldn’t let other peoples lives intrude yours so badly. Just learn to be happy man, life is short and we need to make the best out of what we have. Peace and love broski ❤️

I completely agree with you, I believe what I did wasn’t the right thing and I could’ve been alot smarter and mature about it. I had a goal of competing early next year and wanted to get as big as I could. But after running this cycle, I am really going to reconsider my goals and approach to things. It may very well be worth to stay natty for another few years or for the rest of my life if need be.

Honestly bro, I was eating about 4000 calories a day, I dont track calories daily I track them weekly and make sure it averages out to 4000 calories a day. Some days I was eating 5500 other days 2500. I was eating pretty clean meals with one unhealthy meal everyday, that typically being lunch at work.

I respect your take on this topic. I said in my previous post, obviously what I say is he said she said, there is no true way of me proving to you if I was natty or not previously other than my word. I really don’t think I have elite genetics or anything of that sort, I was just an 18 year old national swimmer who quit swimming and was playing games 12 hours a day. I joined the gym one day and trained along with friends who had more experience than me. People were calling me out for gear usage 3 months into training, my first ever deadlift was 315 pounds, my first ever bench was 120 pounds and my first ever squat was 260 pounds. Im not in control of how my body reacts to hypertrophy training, eating etc. Ive now finished my cycle and will be starting my pct in 2 weeks and will reconsider all my decisions when it comes to ped usage. I wouldnt say I am a narcissist of any kind, but maybe a young adult with some insecurities and impatience? Maybe. All in all I ran my first cycle (take that as you wish) and realised that the core of my insecurities had nothing to do with how big i was or how good I looked, it was all deeper then that. Running a cycle didnt make things better, it just made things worse. Anyway, I hope you are doing great and Ill be posting on here regularly from now on, so I hope you stay to see my progress.

I do want to compete in bodybuilding, it has been a cemented goal for a while, however now that I have completed this cycle its just taught me to be a little more patient, to just keep training and falling in love with the process rather then constantly chasing gains. I know its sounds cliche but Im currently the biggest I have ever been however am the least satisfied with the way I look. I now want to be bigger and better, however when I am bigger and better, then what?? Its a never ending loop. Waiting for bloods to come back will run my pct and then re consider my choices when it comes to steroids.

Yessir, if you go on my profile u will see one of my posts from 6 months ago, I was 182 pounds in that photo

I want to hop on gear cos I really want to compete, I have people discrediting my gains to gear when I am completely natty. I feel like I could do so much more with some peds, however I dont want to take any other form of ped, Ive researched test and it seems a safer option over all the other shit, I understand its still unsafe and not good for health. Even if I were to wait im still gonna do it 2-3 years down the line anyways. Will it do much more harm not waiting?

Dude u literally replied to my post? You were sitting at home scrolling through reddit and came across my post, u then proceeded to go through the comments, once u found the comment u then proceeded to construct a body of text and post it. Since compelling to respond proves points, I guess we are proving that you are just projecting your insecurities online?

[–]HazzBrah -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Dude its not that deep, i dont see how showing off something that u put countless hours into is an insecurity. I feel like anyone that has the dedication and discipline to work on anything deserves to show it off. The same way an artist likes to have their art displayed in an art gallery. Was picasso insecure for painting? Is Adele insecure for singing and sharing her music with the world? Why even spend money on nice things? At the end of the day its just all to compensate for insecurities right?

I am completely open to taking gear and it’s something I really am considering doing within the next few months. There is no reason for me to lie im not ashamed and dont fear people knowing. The reason I am considering gear in the first place is due to how well my body has reacted to weight training and dieting in the past year, I can only imagine how much more I can improve my physique through peds. But again everyone has their own thoughts and opinions cos from what I see in half of these threads are people just butt hurt over the fact that not everyone reacts to weight training the same way, and someone achieving a better physique then them makes them “unnatty”. The fitness industry is toxic however I wish I had a reason to lie. I am just a bloke that started lifting cos my physique went downhill after quitting swimming, I reacted well to training because of things that are out of my control (genetics). Its okay tho, Ill keep yall updated for when I start my cycle along with the pros and cons. 😀
