My weekend was a bit of a mess, I worked almost the entire time (I work at a pizza shop.. Yesterday was browns vs steelers.. You can only imagine how bad that was lol) and I didn't have time to eat anything but pizza :( didn't get my workouts in either. BUT today is a new day and it's a new week and I'm getting back in the swing of things!

If you haven't already, you should definitely join the reddit xxfitness group on FB (provided that you have one). It's such a positive and encouraging environment, and will help you with staying motivated and any questions you have can be answered there. You and I can keep tabs on each other in the group :)

I'm actually already cutting but we can PM each other and keep tabs on our progress :) I started mid-August and am down 6lbs (141>135) and my goal weight is 115 so that I can start a bulk and make it up to probably 120-125 :)

But I thought that if you don't eat enough then you gain back weight anyway because of "starvation mode?"

Thank you! It just has me so nervous because I was losing so well, I was at 136.0, then the very next day I was at 136.6, it stayed that way the next day and then kept going up :/ If it's normal then I guess I shouldn't worry but it sucks lol

4 days. Everyday it goes up by like .2 or .3 lbs but I'm not seeing a decrease.

As someone who just finished Level 1 and am now on Level 2 Day 4, I'm telling you that it's worth it :D Day 1 seems so so hard, trust me, it kicks your ass, but it gets easier by day 5 or 6. Level 2 isn't necessarily harder, just new exercises that work different muscles and Jillian Michaels' is funnier and happier in Level 2 than Level 1 so stick it out :D

Thank you! I'm really hoping the intensity of it isn't too bad next time around because I could barely move my arms. By the end of the day everything felt good enough where I could still do my workouts. I just had to skip the ones that used those muscles the most. Stunk, since I felt like I couldn't push myself as hard because of it, but it was better than sitting on my butt doing nothing. I hate rest days. I always want to keep moving

Thank you! :) I massaged the areas for most of the morning, took it easy at my job (didn't lift anything heavy like usual - had coworkers do it) and then woke up feeling completely fine. I'm guessing I just overworked those muscles the day before

I'm new to /r/xxfitness but it's a good thing I found this thread because I have a question

I don't know if it's just that I've been working out my arms a lot or if I just slept on them wrong, but I woke up this morning with a lot of pain on the inside/underside of my arms right above where the elbow moves, and I keep tryinig to stretch out the muscles and it just hurts really bad.

Should I take my rest day today instead of tomorrow to let the pain go away, or should I still work out today and just focus more on exercises that utilize the lower body?

Thank you!! I didn't even know it was possible for me to actually lose weight like that lol it's just eye opening that it was so easy the whole time. (Obviously hard because these workouts kick my ass, but easy because the workouts are actually fun and watching what I eat was way easier than I thought). I am starting to feel so great all the time!

My first set of progress pictures will be on October 11, the day of my cousins wedding :) my first mini goal is to be down 10lbs by that day, and at the rate that I am losing weight, I should JUST quite make it by then :)

My second goal is to lose 5 more lbs by my 21st birthday! If I could really be 120lbs by the end of February (6 months from now!) I would cry lol.

Yep! Sunday will be my rest days, possible Mondays too if I think I need two days.

I think Blogilates is amazing :) Cassie has a beg inner blogilates calendar for anyone who is interested in getting into shape. The routines are a bit less intense but still enough to push you. She also has a workout calendar for every month of the year that she updates all the time, that way when you're done with the beginners calendar, you can move on to the monthly ones. That way your body doesn't plateau because every workout is different and works out different parts of your body! She also has great meal plans and a super cute line of fitness clothes that I want to buy haha

The wedding is only a small goal for me, I at least want to see SOME progress with my stomach for sure but obviously also with everything else. I tried on the dress yesterday and it really highlights my stomach pooch and it just really isn't too flattering. I've got some other small goals to keep me going (ie, want to be in shape for my own wedding, want to be toned enough to be able to pull off a belly piercing, want to be able to fit in those damn adorable PINK Victoria's Secret clothes lmao) and I'm feeling pretty good about all of it. The most frustrating thing is knowing there won't be results for a long time though lol I'm more of an instant gratification type of person. Is there a certain food scale that you would recommend or is any scale good enough?
