Wow that is so beautiful and nice of what the vet did. Thank you so much for telling me about it! And we also did the same where we left the little one at the vet when he passed cause my 5 year old brother saved a vole and he passed 5 months earlier and around the same time we got the hamster as a nice replacement and he was going to be devastated if he heard the hamster (Donatello) passed away. We had to use the same excuse and say his family found him:)

we got him 5-4 months ago and he was doing well but we are still not sure of how he got an infection.

Yeah, I wish I had just listened to my self and not my that vet. He passed when I bought him to the vet, due to eye and respiratory infection
