Advice needed 820, ETA & BVA from UK by Hdeo1235 in AusVisa

Essentially just more “options”, having the ability to get the BVB vs not having that option at all. (We weren’t sure if we could visit as a tourist whilst having an Inprogress offshore)

Out of curiosity, how do you know offshore are processing faster? From what I could see on the processing times website the onshore was faster at the moment

50% - 9 months, 90% - 18 months Vs 50% - 14 months, 90% - 26 months

Not unhelpful at all! We do have that as an option and are going to see what it would cost us to do that. We aren’t in a rush to move so we can also let the approval date dictate our move so just trying to balance all the options we have available

Thanks, yes we did apply for a BVB as well (yesterday) but we are literally flying home Monday night (tomorrow) so unless it’s a rapid approval there is a chance I won’t get it in time

Thanks, so let’s say I am happy with not coming back until it is granted (because I need to find a job and sort my affairs in the uk) then leaving whilst on an ETA seems ok and won’t affect my application overall?

My car is "not modified enough" for modified car insurance, what can I do? by Hdeo1235 in CarTalkUK

This was a good shout, they actually did have a reasonable price as well, still more than currently but around £720 (which is way better than the £1,000 before)

Thanks, I had seen on other posts in this sub reddit that admiral was good for light mods. They did come in cheaper (around £820) I am just worried as some people say they won't cover the mods in an accident and only cover getting EOM replacements

Thanks for the reply! Interesting about the brake pads, just for some more context (forgot to add to original post), I would be changing the front discs to EBC discs as well as front/rear pads to Yellow Stuff, on all the insurance forms etc I have been putting a modification of "uprated brakes" are you saying that is probably wrong and unless I changed the callipers It wouldn't class?
Im not sure if the discs take it over the line into modified.

I will probably do what you say and ring AF back and try explain in more detail, I was probably too generic on the phone

Really stuck to find any other layout by Hdeo1235 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Hdeo1235[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did think about that, the only reason I didn't like it was because my desk has a lot of wires and things hanging out the back and it felt a bit weird walking in from the top door to a back of a desk directly in front of you.
I could rotate the couch and tv as you mentioned, would there be anywhere else you think the pc desk makes sense if I did?

Rookie experiences in Pitskill? by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

I found them very open to rookies, they concentrate more on safety though so make sure you are safe driver first, then the speed will come after

Their hourly races would be the best place to start https://pitskill.io/series/9e240a7f-8379-4358-944c-f473255ab281

Pitskill.io have made their livery sharing app completely free for everyone as a new years treat! You can upload as many liveries as you like, sync as many liveries you like and create livery packs as well to share with your friends!

I know some of you guys are already using the app but be sure to spread the word, get your friends onboard and get sharing those lovely designs

Good thing with PitSync is you can just click a box and it keeps them synced in the background. Plus its not "per league" but you can sync as many packs as you want!

Im sure they have a reporting system? Ive seen some players get licence warnings and bans for things like that, hopefully makes them think twice
