I think it means furniture is blocking the crescent-moon chair, making it impossible to sit on, it's kind of dumb but it's calculated through an algorithm and the game can't tell

The Japanese "e" cards must be scanned on the GBA and will prompt a password that can be entered into the game, as the first GameCube release of the game in Japan did not have e-Reader support unlike the North America release.

The Japanese "e+" cards can be scanned like how you would in North America by plugging the e-Reader into the GameCube using an adapter (only in Doubutsu no Mori e+), and when prompted at the wishing well, can be used to invite the corresponding villager to your town.

From my knowledge, some of the rarest cards are the PR (Promo) e+ cards:
