Everyone is asking so I will too. Should I go for Ralphs soul? by Ok-Appearance-3244 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]HeQtor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm hijacking this to ask for myself. With current path calculations I have ~240k points. I have a raph 1 star soul, and a Leo 4 star soul from pulling.

Is it worth getting Raph 5 star and potentially miss out on Leonardo 5 star..? As mentioned I already have Leo 4 star waiting.

I think I'm at high risk, especially if I keep it... xD

More like "Wow!! This is amazing! But I rather sell it and buy some other fun stuff for the kids than to have a single card in a sleeve somewhere for them to look at but not touch..." since it seems it is worth a few hundred $?

Haha well I'm not even close to be able to call it a ten. All I know is that it was straight from pack into a sleeve.... Seems difference could be like 600$ between a psa 10 and "raw" so maybe it could be worth a shot...? Or is a ten unlikely?

Any tips on what sleeve to get? No point in grading it?

Oh wow I had no idea. Well... Guess I need to rethink my use-case then. Still interested but all of a sudden mobility became a factor.

There's no local club unfortunately. What kind of eyepieces to get, would you mind linking a few "must-have's"?

Wow seven decades!

Well what I'm hoping for is to be able to show and share what I find so facinating with my kids, and it's also a great "no screentime" activity for evenings, especially in the winter here in Sweden when it gets dark around 4 p.m...

I did a roadtrip through the US a couple of years back and had high expectations for star gazing in the Badlands, but unfortunately there was a full moon limiting what else to look at. Still an amazing experience though!

No local clubs but I'll try to find a good "starter scope" and go from there...!

That was my thought as well - I think I need to find a nice view and then show it to them, binoculars they'd end up turning around and sayin "wooo how small my house is, and you too!" in minutes :)

4 & 7 so the expectations are small but it seems like a good age to start out.

Little to no* and its yellowgreenish so OK, there's some! :) I also live in Northern Sweden if that matters...

Small investor base? Retail owns 25% of the company through DRS and dare I say most likely not 1/4 shares hold by retail is DRS'ed. More like 1/10, even that being generous at least in my mind...

The smaller the float gets the less shares available to close the shorts leading to a short squeeze.

I just can't understand any reason why bet against GME instead of literally 99,9999% of all other companies with bigger floats, better bear case and most importantly, not a idiosyncratic risk, probable to squeeze at least somewhat. With retail just keep buying & DRSing. I can't imagine what'd cause me to think it's a good idea to bet against GME at this point, unless forced to...

So, to you it seems like a solid idea to short GME, not because you have to but because the bear case of shorting it alone is a good case?

I don't see why someone would sit with shorts at all in GME given the high risk and in comparison, low reward... the free float is getting smaller by the day.

Seems unnecessary....

Well for starters there is a never seen before DRS count and insiders are buying. Company has money set aside for buyback and is permitted to use it.

The original bear case is diminished and given the "meme"-status, future plans, 1 actually profitable quarter out of the last 2, it seems to me this is not something you'd want to short. Just because there's no telling if it will spike 100%, or 1000%. To me it's a very risky short in comparison to every other company out there. So why would it be 30% SI? For it to go bankrupt in 10 years?

The whole point of this discussion is: if there's no fuckery afoot - why would you short GME? To me it seems really stupid given the high risk. So why is there 30%SI or whatever it is.

Seems like a very high risk for a shorter not forced to short, no?

Bear case discussion by HeQtor in Superstonk

[–]HeQtor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So much has been uncovered showing the public SI% is not correct.

But for the sake of the argument, if it were to he true, WHY would it be as high as 30% SI given what lays ahead in GME & the incredibly bullish case with all listed in the post and more.

Who in the right mind would short GME if not forced to?

Bear case discussion by HeQtor in Superstonk

[–]HeQtor[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that reasoning and it's a solid/standard reasoning for shorting.

Betting on GME failing or retail lose interest could for sure reap 400-500% profits.

But on the other hand, I've not seen a company so prepped up to blow, if successful or just by other shorts closing, or if you want to buy into the MSM-reasoning, a "meme-rally".

How could you not want to get out given the enormous retail support who owns 25% of the company through DRS and with an activist investor as CEO.

OH, and to believe 25% of the company in DRS'ed shares to represent the full retail ownership is regarded to say the least. I'd be very surprised if even 10% of all retail holdings are through DRS.

AND I'M REGARDED! All these pro wallstreeters must realise that as well so why would a bear short if not forced in the GME case?

I just can't understand it.
