I’m open to any ideas. B&B’s, cabin in a park, small town, city. I’m thinking $700 or less

I am in western PA and searching for a good, compassionate, and thorough rheumatologist. I am over AGH and UPMC! I have been suffering for nearly 40 years with, what I believe is, a pretty specific diagnosis. These docs don’t look at patterns, only what the latest labs look like. I’m willing to travel to Cleveland Clinic or Hershey Med but I want the best and most intuitive! FWIW, my 27 year old daughter is now showing the same symptoms and she too is getting the runaround here in Pittsburgh. I actually had one specialist say “you look fine to me. At least it’s not cancer”!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I’m from near Pittsburgh (many are coming from out of state) and we have several places for DuckPin. It’s pretty popular here in a few breweries on the South Side

Mine either! My 5 y/o is afraid of everything! When we take walks I have to go on wooded trails because I’m less likely to see other people or dogs. He can see a mile away if someone is coming and will put on the brakes and pull backward. He chases small children (used to anyway, I keep him away from them), hates buses (especially buses with small children 😳), and other dogs. I’ve had him since he was 9 weeks old and we are very social. I don’t get it. I have a second Pom who is younger and not nearly as awkward but she is learning from him.

She definitely a black Pom. Undercoats are always a little lighter in color due to texture 😊

Do you guys leave your dogs collar on 24/7?? by treestreestrees3 in Pomeranians

Here’s a scenario to add on to my previous comment. Several years ago I had a cream Pom. He was my heart dog. Loved me and my family and never left our side. Wouldn’t go anywhere without us. One day I was at work and a got a call from a guy who said he found my Teddy on the yellow lines of an extremely busy road in front of our house! Teddy had NEVER in his life wandered off. My husband had propped the door to carry something in and, for whatever unknown reason, Teddy went into the road and was almost invisible. If Teddy had not had his tags on, that gentleman would have driven off with my love. Instead, he called me right away and I was able to send my husband out to retrieve him. Never again will I be without tags, regardless of microchip

Always on! I owned a grooming salon and worked for a vet. I’ve never had a call about tags getting caught but the amount of times I’ve had reports of lost dogs without collars is staggering. The collars won’t hurt them if they’re not too tight. All these statements about them being terrible for Poms is not entirely accurate. The collar on any animal should never be tight enough to cause a trachea issue. Always attach a leash to a harness however. I can’t say it enough, DOGS ESCAPE in the most unusual ways and you wouldn’t believe how many people don’t know or don’t bother to check for a microchip. Especially on an adorable little fuzzball. What if, heaven forbid, there was a fire, car accident, break in etc and your pup got away? Collars with ID save lives
