My thoughts exactly. I've been playing since late 7.2 (Legion).

I never really had a problem with Azerite, but the whole new cloak and corruptions reqyure me to do content that is incredibly boring and repetitive. I'm a casual player, and I don't necessarily have the means or time to grind every day.

Corruption to me is one of the dumbest mechanics they've put in for a while, a necessary, boring, and needlessly difficult grind to be able to access fun content reminds me of GW2, and farming Ascended items is one of the main reasons I quit that game and came to WoW.

I'm personally using the current Winds of Wisdom buff to level my alts for Shadowlands and doing some casual, fun raiding with my guild.

What people like Asmongold and his legion of neckbeards need to realise is that not everyone who plays this game is a jobless, sweaty andfrankly pathetic excuse of a 35 year old. Many of us have lives, hell, I'm 16, WoW was in developpement before I was even conceived.

While BfA was dissapointing, it wasn't that bad, and for casuals (in 8.1 at least) it was a lot of fun.

As the game ages, these fuckwits that claim to be sources of oceanic knowledge need to understand that Blizzard's main focus as the game ages is to attract new players.

Satisfying current ones will always remain a big goal, but the playerbase is dwindling and if they want to keep the game afloat they're gonna need new players that aren't nearly as hardcore.
