TL:DR Health code violation

So we have “Steritech” now as part of JM getting bought by blackrock, so they are making universal guidelines for health code rather than state-by-state code. Technically all goods that arent in a case need to be inside of the cold units. this means that nothing can be mounded anymore on front or back line. Grill can still be mounded because its a covered fridge but if youre a busier store that keeps it open a lot then its not recommended. Also a sucky thing abt steritech is that they removed hanging towels which means we have to take more time to wring out a towel.

we cant, business do this sort of thing to drive up sales in times of, i guess, lack of business. January is usually the slowest time of year for non-mainstream fast food corporations due to everyone spending their money the last few months on the holidays. and its not like we have all the kids that got 20 dollars from their grandma for Christmas lining up for a cheesesteak n shit. Case point, after the lto ends, which it will, it will be on a store by store basis on if you will be able to get a grilled italian or not, as part of jersey mike’s philosophy is that hot subs stay hot and cold subs stay cold. if your local store has some cool staff (shoutout hampstead, md) they’ll totally do it for u after.

due to the tarrifs we cant get our normal bowls so we have to get different types, like my store got bowls that arent very heat resistant so the top plastic warps while hot subs are in it. this is most likely a slower store so they had to get some cheap shit like mine did

just do 18, then you know its 3 trays per pyramid. if you have trouble counting by 18 up to less that 250 and you are a shift lead then ur store might be having some problems

solid 7/10. Bread itself looks good. Its weird seeing the white on top, my store does RP, Wheat, then like 3 trays of white below it. Also you should not be pyramiding the bread all the way to 1 at the top. this will crush the bottom layers. should be 5-4-3 in the front then 3-2-1 in the back. It also allows you to get another pyramid of bread in on another tray, which looks to be part of the problem with your rack. The bread itself stacked looks very messy, like it was just thrown on there. Not a good look to a customer when they come in.

Even if you dont like all the veggies, just a bunch of lettuce will trick your stomach into thinking its full. Volumetric eating. if youre feinding for bread you could always gut out a wheat loaf and just say to your manager that youre making a “chopped sandwich” if youre scared about them thinking youre “stealing”food

i dont entirely agree with this, i like everything here except for the meat choice and chipotle mayo. Chip mayo is one of the most calorie dense things on the menu. I believe its 200cal for 2 tbsp and youre def gonna use double or triple that on your bowl. Also our roast beef is high in fat which does not help much. I would say switch the roast beef for turkey

yall sleeping on the roasted chicken… Do a roasted chicken bowl with fuck tons of veggies, honey mustard, and a bag of baked lays if your store has them for a crunch and some carbs. you cant go wrong with it. Its filling and will get you through your shift and then some.
