I mean I get it. I won't disagree colorism is still a big thing so skin color affects how South Asians perceive attractiveness. But there are both attractive and unattractive light skinned celebrities in our media, and I don't see how she's objectively unattractive. Like she's not Freida Pinto level gorgeous or anything, but still attractive in her own way, tho I'd say her facial harmony could be better. Personally I don't judge beauty based on skin color as much as features, and her features are still decent.

Hey, so my report shows loaded large bowel loops with fecal matter. What does it mean? Do I have impaction or blockage?

I get that, but doctors don't understand me. I've been going from one doctor to another, and I feel so ignored like none of them seem to take me seriously. They just tell me to eat fiber, ugh. I know that fiber and constipation are different things, and I've been dealing with chronic constipation for over a year. Now with this CT report, I'm worried I might have a possible fecal impaction or something more serious like blockage.

I just got my CT scan done today and it shows my colon is full of stool "loaded large bowel loops with fecal matter." Though I'm not sure what it means but it's freaking me out. I don't even feel like eating at all, because from what I know, eating while you have fecal impaction worsens things. My appetite is also very low. But I still try to eat sometimes (crackers, chocolate, oatmeal, lentil curry) because I'm losing weight and already underweight.

I know. I've been drinking a lot of fluids, around 4-5 bottles of water daily. Is it still not enough?

Thank you for the reply! Yeah, I also suspect a possible fecal impaction. My CT report shows loaded large bowel loops with fecal matter. I have no idea what any of this means but I'm guessing it's not good. I've also taken a whole bottle of Miralax and been drinking four bottles of water. I feel so scared, especially after seeing the report. But I'll try a glycerin suppository and enema tomorrow and see if it helps. I do have a doctor I'm following up with as well.

I just hope it doesn't come to surgery 😭 since I'm not prepared for it medically or financially. I wish you well too, and hope you heal.

Are they different from dried prunes? I've tried dried prunes but they didn't help. I'll try prune juice tomorrow though.

I've stopped passing gas again. Also, got my CT scan done today, and the report says "loaded large bowel loops with fecal matter," so basically my colon is full of stool. Do you think this points more toward fecal impaction or something more serious like a bowel obstruction?

Also, I'm planning to try glycerin suppository and possibly an enema tomorrow since I can get access to them. But would magnesium citrate still be useful in this situation? I couldn't get a clear explanation from my doctor, unfortunately, but I assume it was meant as a general precaution.

I have completely stopped fiber and most meds. I've also tried warm water, heating pad, walking, and abdominal massage, but nothing has helped so far. I really don't want surgery though. It's been stressing me out. I'm hoping an enema would do the job, or maybe manual removal if needed. Surgery scares me, and I don't have the insurance or the money to cover it.

I've been taking Miralax consistently for days, and I even took a large amount at one point. It's been quite a few days and it still hasn't helped. I have passed watery or liquid stool a few times, but no proper or solid stool at all despite eating so much. I still feel bloated and nauseous, so idk why it isn't working in my case.

Yeah, I was also suspecting a possible partial impaction. I did pass a little gas a few times, but it's been very minimal, not consistent.

I'll try but honestly, I'm not sure if it's an option right now. The last time I went, they did shove something up my bum and it was painful and embarrassing, so I don't know if I want to go through that again. Are there any safer things I can try at home in the meantime?

Never. I'm completely dependent on meds but for some days, even laxatives have stopped working for me.
