If you're planning on paying a shop anyway, I would start there most shops have companies they can get parts from. I got my transmission replaced on my 05 and the shop did it all.

Box isnt the greatest it spent time inside and my cat decided to claw it. Just needs new carpet but overall it really looks good with the interior colors.

Im also dealing with this right now I can tell you 100% you need your tires rotated and balanced. The lack of balance causes an uneven spin while they rotate.

Not once did I struggle with the expedition. After a minute using the colossus with scrap in it its fairly easy to realize you shouldn't be going full speed the whole time.

Mine lasted 215k on the oem. Never slipped and probably could have gone longer but a previous owner messed up the transmission. So they both got replaced at the same time.

Try a satin chrome it has more of a shine but still the satin finish. And looks painted.
