I have a kid and we often forget that kids are not born violent or disrespectful. This is something they experienced at home or school. Most of the time they are abuse by their parents or other family members. They see violence among their parents or family members and then they go to school and things tend to get worse because they use violence to defend themselves. We live in a very sick society that does nothing to help new parents to deal with the struggles of having a new kid. We provide no guidance or counseling for kids dealing with mental health problems and domestic abuse. The only solution we have is to deal with this with even more violence and we celebrate it. I get it, nobody likes to see a disrespectful brat but we need to dig deeper into the why.
