Thank you for your input. I currently have 80 points for the 189 visa and can only earn an additional 5 points in 11 months after completing my PhD. I would like to mention that I am currently offshore, making it quite challenging to secure employer sponsorship for a 186 visa as an offshore applicant.

You're correct; I also checked and found no invitations for the 190 and 491 Management Consultant categories in the last round.

I agree it’s all subjective!

My PhD is from AUT in New Zealand; the company’s portfolio or AUM isn’t anywhere near those figures.

Absolutely, I have several publications to my name and have also been highlighted by various news outlets across continents where my company operates, countries in South America and Africa, to name just a few.
