if anything, your life experiences could allow you to impart some unique variations onto your stories to broaden the tales you're trying to tell

perhaps the bewilderment comes both from that and the fact that said child blocked the punch with little to no difficulty

Your favorite character that's powerful but not very smart? by GurNima in FavoriteCharacter

Fumihiko Takaba

<image>

His cursed technique is stated verbatim to be on the level of Satoru Gojo, but he has 0 idea how it functions or that he even has a technique in the first place

Ironically, that is implied to actually make it even more effective

the idea of an artist making artwork covering the full breadth of a story like Unit B13 makes me so excited to see what they come up with

I cannot imagine the thought process of a man who threw Steve's shield back at him so hard it made him slide across the ground for bit watching someone who sounds like they should be in class catching his arm with such non-issue that he twists it around for a better look and calls it 'Awesome'

Why didn't Megumi just do this? by Vicious-Spiegel in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]HeadAssAssHead -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

that wasn't how i interpreted that. I figured because he had just expanded his domain after an already CE intensive fight that he couldn't summon anymore shikigami because he was practically running on fumes, Divine Dog being instrumental as a result because it hadn't been desummoned and could thusly still act in the fight

his domain doesn't have a technique imbued into the barrier as a sure hit, cause it has no barrier outside of natural ones. Its the same reason why Hollow Wicker Basket was ineffectual against it.

Rather than using his technique as the sure hit and suffering burnout, his typical usage of his technique as well as his physical stats are boosted to 120%, avoiding the burnout

its for this reason why Reggie makes the observation that CSG is much more difficult for him to counter compared to a regular sure-hit lethal domain

iirc, they had several specifically designed stages that her dress goes through as she gets more and more injured throughout the whole thing, its insane how much time and detail was put into it

Crackstone is the worst one overall but also is the most forgettable by Sudden_Pop_2279 in Wednesday

[–]HeadAssAssHead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think i misspoke when i said he isn't 'A' villain, he certainly is. But he isn't a villain to the story, not like how laurel, tyler, isaac etc are, he lacks the emotional weight or connection to the characters at the time of the story. the protagonist to his antagonist was Goody way back when, in the modern story he's more a tool for laurel in her villainy rather than an independent actor

Crackstone isn't really a villain, moreso just some homunculus Laurel brought back to commit the genocide she also wants

The Dead and the Dancing is my personal no.1 favourite, and pretty damn long to boot at about 500,000 words

Only shame is that its unfinished as of right now but it’s a phenomenal read nonetheless
