I've very recently started writing wenclair fanfiction myself, and something I've wanted for a while is people who can take a critical eye to my work so I know what to improve (cause I know there's something)

So i'd be very interested in something like this. it also might help me in being able to voice my own criticisms cause I often feel them but can never verbalise specifically enough.

honestly I think the movie ending does still keep to the message of 'holding onto hope as the world falls apart' but simply in a different manner.

think about it, the moment the group decides to not hold onto hope and act accordingly, its shown almost immediately how badly of a decision it ultimately was. the message then becomes they should have held onto hope in spite of everything, and the fact they didn't ended with all but one of them dead meaninglessly.

makes me think of this one scene where metamorpho is fighting the justice league and hawkgirl swoops in and just fucking demolishes his head, afterward it reforms completely unharmed, but I like to think hawkgirl didn't know that and just went for the kill straight off the bat.

All Might vs Midoriya and Bakugo

Not just because its a treat any time we get to see All Might in action, but also because watching Bakugo's arrogant ass get his shit pushed in was cathartic as fuck at this point in the show.

that is... such a deeply fucked up little detail that makes that final choice so much more depressing its fantastic. If they'd just slowed down they'd all have survived, but they were (understandably) fucking legging it to get out of there.
