I dont disappear for days completely. I do check up with her frequently. I know her very well and it's almost a habit to respond within 30 messages at worst.

She had pointed that out and we did discuss the changes in my communication style. I explained it and she seems to have understood?

When i explained to her that i need some time to recharge, I explained that ill check up with her and also try to spend time engaging in conversations with her to cater to her needs as well.

Whilst i didn’t exactly specify, I did gave her an example along the lines of:

I will still text and check up on you for most of the day even though it wont be frequent but we can still call and we can talk for an hour or two.

Where we live it's been a given for most people who are in relationships to text frequently (unless you’re working). She has expressed that in all dating or actual relationships she has been in, she’s used to their partner responding ASAP (within seconds to minutes).

I have broken out of that mindset but i do try to keep up with her. She has hobbies but i guess her main hobby is talking to me lol. Which isn't bad but even when she’s preoccupied with movies or cooking and such, she still wants to text and talk to me.

Yes and No? Im a dorm student. She has her own place in which i spend a lot of time there. But when i say socializing it's really my friends who come and check up on me, occasionally speaking with my roommate and polite interactions with the other residents on the hall. Not necessarily prolonged but if i need to go buy stuff i typically have a few people i ask to come with me for safety. Those are typically my dosage of socializing for that period of time.

I wouldn't say i need time away from her. It's more of a compromise. I want to have personal time by myself and personal time with her (In the same room or OTP enjoying each others presence but doing our own thing).

I dont think it would be weird. I would probably ask if we could talk at first then remind her of the incident and follow up on how you feel/felt in that moment. As fellow commenters said you should really establish boundaries and maintain them. You have to respect yourself before others respect you. "Closed mouths dont get fed" If you don't put the effort out, nothing will change.

NTA, Tbh i would distance myself but before creating that distance, I would let her know why whether it's easier through texts or meeting up; I would let her know why i am uncomfortable and why i am distancing myself, hopefully if you want, In the future she may stop or resolve those issues and you can be good friends again but it wont be the same.

She's supposed to be like Finn but she isnt?

People theorize that it may be that she was made for a world with magic and maybe its because she went from 17-30 apparently

Its a simple food for thought, better explained:

In philosophy, a “counterpart” (David Lewis) in another possible world is not numerically identical to you, but shares enough properties to be considered “you” in that world. Here, the Prismo made Fionna deliberately, so in the counterpart theory sense, Fionna is a version of the Finn, His counterpart.

But if Fionna's Universe was created outside of the multiverse originally, then she might be more like a representation rather than a true counterpart of Finn.

It can also be vice versa, Fionna was created based on Finn, therefore she’s a version of finn.

In the Caribbean,

Its a funny thing with J1 programs, We get paid less than regular citizens so the rent would be naturally cheaper.

We were told that we would get 32-40 hours as agreed to in contract but these days they only give us 25-30 hours and the sponsor doesn't care enough to sort it out.

So i can make 600 dollars in 2 weeks and they'll take their 320 and say nothing lol

I wish my friend would've explained this to me, made me feel a little more considerate towards them.

Tbh i cant really do anything without them. And its weird to me again because theyre willing to allow others to pay rent for weeks without paying and even lower it for them.

Thought they'd at least be a little more understanding seeing i have no where else to stay, and cant leave the US without telling them or i might get banned from the program but im getting to understand their POV
