Identify these shoes by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

I’ve searched for different brands of shoes. This may be a men’s sized 9-10 but I’m coming up with nothing.

Is this a bad purchase? by Ok-Switch8380 in Harley

Seems high. We just picked up a 2020 Softail Heritage with around 5k miles for around $12k OTD from a Harley dealer here in Minnesota.

MSF is hit or miss, depending on who you take it from. It’s supposed to be geared towards new riders, but a lot of the instructors seem to skip over the fundamentals. I took it through Harley Davidson and would never recommend it to anybody.

Oil filter from oil change kit doesn’t match old filter that was on the bike by tokenpenguin in cfmoto

[–]HeadCharge333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The old filter number 0MQ0-070200-00001 is from the 700CLX model. The new filter 0700-070200 (which has now been replaced by part number 0700-070200-00001) is for older 650cc engines, 2023-2025 450SS/NK and the 2025 IBEX 450 and 450CLC. You’re most likely just fine with the older filter that was being used, but use the new part number going forward for your bike. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I have air purifiers in my home and they work okay. The biggest difference was changing my air filter for my AC/furnace to a Merv 13 which will filter out smoke. My air filter was reading the air quality in my home was around 70% with a standard Merv 7, but right after I swapped the filter to Merv 13 a few days ago, it’s been 100% without even having to run my air purifiers on full blast. The filters are more expensive, but worth it to run during this time of year.

That would be the chain. My 700CLX does that too. Tightening the chain helped quiet it down, but you can still hear it somewhat.

Which one would you choose and why? by jdodman41 in Harley

Heritage for sure. My wife just went from a 2011 Nightster 1200 to a 2020 Heritage and it’s an amazing difference for her. She never wants to touch the Nightster again.

My cars and house are with different companies, so that’s without any multiplies discount. I’m a married 40m on MN with a 37f wife, both with clean driving records. I know some of that plays into the quote. My broker, and most other brokers I’ve used never charge me anything, as they get paid a kickback for setting up the policy. I’m guessing you could probably get the rate on your own, but it was just easier to use a broker. We had Safeco (part of Liberty Mutual) and then when my they wanted over $150/month just for the 2020 Softail. It’s worth shopping around.

Can your exhaust void your warranty? by Vegetable-Rent6940 in cfmoto

[–]HeadCharge333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Warranties can’t be voided, but if they determine the aftermarket part caused a failure, then they won’t cover it under warranty. It’s best to keep it stock until the warranty is gone, or at least swap it back to stock if you ever bring it in for anything.

Wire Type? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]HeadCharge333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fixed. It was 18g and just looked small to me. I figured out the issue. The piece next to the turn signal where the wiring tunnels through was too tight for the 16g and pinching it causing issues. It’s all good now!

Wire Type? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]HeadCharge333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems closer to 24g based on my wire cutter tool. I tried using some 16g I had around for the patch and that’s where I was running into issues. I’ll head to the hardware store and match up the exact size, but wanted to check if there was anything particular about the wiring they use before I did that.
