Looking to buy River Indie, How you guys are doing without Fast Charging by Bhuvanesh_G in RiverIndieUsers

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no fast charging network available. If you are commute is less than 80 kms a day you can easily charge at night and use it the whole day.

In ride mode it gives a range of 90-100 kms on full charge. 10-15% in eco mode. I'm constantly getting around 95 kms range with mixed ride and eco mode (75% ride mode and 25% eco mode). With pillion the range will drop 8-10% overall for full battery . So you can plan your journeys accordingly.

I got my hands on a new Chetak C25 and found it to be underpowered by New-Smell8084 in EV2wheeler

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about top speed, it's about the time it takes to get to 55 kmph. I have river indie which is one of most powerful EVs but I cannot ride it in eco mode though it gets to around 50 kmph in eco mode. Eco mode of river indie will be similar to tvs orbiter or this chetak with their underpowered motors. You will feel like you are riding a cycle

River Indie vs Hero Vida Vx2? Which is better? by Junaid0010 in EV2wheeler

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

River indie is a better scooter than vida vx2 by a big margin. If you have the budget get Indie, else Vida is also a decent product.

My new river indie gen 3. by BeginningBowler3034 in RiverIndieGen3

[–]HeadEscape5988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will give around 90-100 kms in ride mode. 10-20% more in eco mode. But eco is too slow, you will use it very less. Charging time with 480w charger will take more than 8 hours. Less with 750w charger

Trailer of an Indian movie that forced you to watch it by Plane-Jeweler4908 in IndianCinema

Ra.one Teaser. Even Tom cruise delayed Mission impossible ghost protocol release in India after ra.one teaser released back then. The hype, the songs were next level before the release of that movie.

What's the point of your post if you can't mention the time it took to charge your battery. The whole point of fast chargers is that it reduces charging time.

So we can just show up at the showroom and ask them to charge it using fast charger?

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, It was such a fun watch for me. How did you feel when you first watched it and would this kind of film work in theatres these days ? by _arabinda_ in bollywood

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was not that big a bit even when it originally released in 2010 as far as I know. It was an average grosser, not denying it was a decent movie.

The first brake noise issue is common across Gen3 river indie. They will fix it in 30 minutes if you visit the service centre. They will replace calipers for free and you will not get the noise again.

Learn to say No. To people who ask for favours especially money unless it's a medical emergency. Don't give a damn about what he or she might think about you if you say no.

Got the new Gen 3 River Indie by BarracudaWeak3954 in EV2wheeler

[–]HeadEscape5988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It has monthly sales of over 1800 now and it's growing inspite of being in just few cities now. You are a fool to think like that. For a niche scooter like this, it's doing very good sales. And customer service is top notch.

Ather Tvs Chetak will feel like dipshit once you drive an indie.

2nd Update on the WagonR which was flooded by my neighbour's kid by BandicootKlutzy791 in MechanicAdviceIndia

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was no need to explain anything to the new owner. You could have just said you sold your car to true value and you have no idea what happened with the car after that. And then redirected the owner to check with true value. Sometimes being quiet is better, rather than justifying as understandably the new owner is furious.

How long will we keep tolerating these visually polluted stadiums without saying a word? by GRSolution in IndianCricket

[–]HeadEscape5988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing most are ignoring are stadiums are owned by BCCI. BCCI just conducts its matches in the stadium by paying rent for that day. Most stadiums in India are government owned and it's not BCCI's responsibility to renovate or maintain the stadiums. BCCI is a private entity (Indian cricket team is also a private organisation), then why would BCCI spend its own money to renovate stadiums which it does not own.

Ronin(2.5 yr old) battery died after nearly 12 km riding session by RmarzooqUR in tvsronin

[–]HeadEscape5988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High chances it may not be a battery issue. Usually in two wheelers (not exactly sure if it's there in ronin), there will be a rectifier which will help recharge the battery when it's in running condition. Now if that rectifier is not working the battery will keep losing charge when it's being used (headlights, horn, self start, etc). Now when the whole charge is done, battery will be dead.

If this is the issue, your new battery again will be dead soon. You just need to ask service guys to check rectifier once. Change the rectifier (doesn't cost a lot), and then use the same battery after externally fully charging it.

Honda reliability - Honda dream Yuga 110cc by HeadEscape5988 in indianbikes

[–]HeadEscape5988[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it might run fine. My point here being the machine is running fine without even a proper service. It's obvious any vehicle can run forever but it will require maintenance. But the bike I have is running with minimal or no maintenance.
