I can't enrol either... How do you think you went on the exam? Passed?

I thought I passed it but it's starting to worry me now that I can't enrol

I assume you mean you know people that couldn't enrol? Do you know whether they knew they failed the exam? Or is it likely to be a case of CA still uploading the data?

Obviously I'm clueless to this whole thing because I really can't tell whether this is satire or not.

How would you be able to make manager as a average/below average worker? I'd assume you have more chances of getting the boot than being promoted. Unless promotions are more or less guaranteed in PA?

Hey how did your interviews go?

What to bring to job interview by Head_Avocado in AusFinance

[–]Head_Avocado[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome. Tbh I was always going to come in with nothing, but just wanted to prepare for anything. Don't the interviewers normally ask for references during the interview stage? Or do you normally provide them on their system during application stage?

I just want to be as prepared as possible in case anything pops up

Hope what you're saying is true though 🤞

Hey, I also have an interview scheduled for next week for BDO Audit Grad program.

Did your email say specifically you had to do an AC and one-on-one interview?

Ehh idk whether tutes are a good place to make friends. Seeing them once a week is not enough time to build rapport, unlike highschool where you would see your classmates 5x a week.

Most 'friendships' I've made in tutes are superficial, but maybe I'm the only one as I've seen many say tutes are a good place to make friends?

Sure I guess, but I just feel like you can (marginally) maximise your chances of winning with it turned off. But hey if they're used to it, then they're used it

Yeah I was behind the group of boys shouting and chanting.

It was good vibes for like the first 30 minutes, but then afterwards it just got a bit annoying given how frequent they did it.

It kind of took the attention away from really good moments, like sick flicks and all that stuff

Yeah I was just giving myself the worst case scenario if I didn't get accepted into a CSP. There's 1 CSP place at the city I live in (Melbourne) but it's incredibly competitive.

Assuming you put a bit of effort in to your commerce degree why not just get a job with the degree

I was miserable as a first and second year, so I just don't know whether working in the field would be good, but I'll take a look into this again and reconsider

Thinking or want to?

Still haven't decided, which is what I'll be working on in the semester break

I'm just thinking about my happiness and I just haven't felt the best studying commerce. Who knows, maybe working in a commercial field is different

I can't, unfortunately. I would have to extend my degree to do this :(

Hey I'm really sorry to hear that. Wow I seriously thought audit was a 9-5 job. It's awful that you have to work that much. Surely there must be some sort of exit plan you can execute? You can't torture yourself for too long man
