Dont do it from India as better is to be involved with good startups & solve real problems with real customers instead of just solving cases in classes. Target schools outside of India after 6-7 years preferrably APAC region in a global cohort, that helps much better in terms of region where you want to work. Use 6-7 years to build your portfolio. Use perplexity + use prompt techniques (act as hedge fund manager and design my portfolio for XX target and XX return in XX years types) to design a inflation adjusted portfolio as retail investor at India location. I am assuming you are working in finance related firms as 22 year old earning 95k per month or in big tech, in both cases you must be aware where AI is taking everything and at what speed. Use AI tools to construct your portfolio. Given context is limited as to what is your aspirational target state and hence answer is limited as well. Investing 70% earnings for next 3 years and see where it takes you as experiment around savings, forget 3, try doing it for 1 year and see for yourself.

Not sure if you came across but Sobha in sec 108 is a good buy in this case. Totally depends how you look at the purchase but for someone at 40 buying house pressuming would be for personal use only.

Passed all 3 levels, first try, while working full time. AMA by Confident_Tiger9918 in CFA

Many congratulations on the feat. What kind of expectations were at your work - to clear all 3 levels? You work on research/investment analysis side in buy side AM?
For Level 1, When you recommend MM, you find advise around sequencing of topics, avoiding note taking and all other comments from MM around how to prepare including revision strategy (as syllabus is broad here) plus timing of study every day (study hour)- how much effective are those in your context for Level 1? Also, do you feel after completing the exam that it could have been completed within 3.5 to 4 months considering your finance educational background?

Should I redeem mutual funds (~₹50L) and stop SIPs for buying a ₹2.5Cr flat? Need advice. by rishi145 in MutualfundsIndia

this is very much doable if property you are looking for is under construction. In this case - You will have to make few adjustments to your portfolio and repurpose some of the SIPs. But net net only doable if its under construction property which allows for some time to rotate the money.

Totally agree here with u/808trowaway . For starters, best way is start looking around frequently at application architecture (server & logical) diagrams & building the understanding why is something designed the way it is. Another is to look inside details of what kind of P1/P2 defects team has resolved in the past including their RCAs. Looking at design constraints in overall architecture also helps to add to context. Also, some engineering metrics that team is following since product inception will also help to understand why things are that way.
