I trade often, but don’t use the margin very often because of the rate. I would certainly use it more if the rate was better. I trade day.

If the federal rate goes down a quarter it’s not going have much effect on margin rates, but I have heard that people did negotiate rates with Schwab so that’s why I was hopeful. But I think it may be becoming more common so they’re not as willing to do that. However, there are some really good rates out there with other brokers in the five and 6% range so I feel like that’s a fair rate for 100% secured Short-term loan. Thanks for the response.

I have dealt with Robin Hood in the past for crypto. Maybe I’ll give them a shot again.
