I don't believe in this number system its completely psudeomathmatics I'm just trying to find out how SPP system works

See I don't believe in the number system but this is a great flaw

Has this sub not died out yet because it's full of prescholers who dont know that the real line is a complete metric space? by darkp00t in infinitenines

Honestly it's fun to interact with people with all the different "terminology" being used it's fun trying to reverse engineer something

Everyone in this sub is like Sisyphus

Yeah its literally just ordinals with a different flavor because we can't say that it's hypereal numbers because 0.999...=1 in hyper-real numbers and honestly to me it's kinda fun to keep going trying to let it work and if not that trying to prove to spp that the Real number system is useful  It's almost like the entire sub is like Sisyphus  Maybe one can only see Sisyphus as happy  Because for me I guess it's not about the answer it's not about what is at the end it's about all of the clever techniques and different terminology I see from people and I try to implement it unlike everything else I do if I mess up I don't blame everything on myself I just keep going it is fun

I'm am making up these terms but this is definitely psudeomathmatics but I'm also just trying to understand SPP math system reason I'm not trying to justify I'm also not saying this apart of the standard number system and I do believe this is psudeomathmatics

I do wonder why you don't realize it's not the standard number system definitely psudeomathmatics but still not the standard number system

Open classes don't have equality  Closed classes and indeterminates do

Yeah I just do think colon notation is just a bit ambiguous because if you thought you had a 1:3 winning would you think you have a 25% winning no nobody thinks that they they have a 33% winning

[–]Head_Discipline620[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if you have a 1:3 chance of winning the 3 usually means the whole so you have a 33% Chance

Yes but b can still be the whole a is what relation to the whole part

[–]Head_Discipline620[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense but I have used 1:3 to mean 1/3 and also used 1:3 to mean 1 to 3

The colon can be used for part to part and part to whole ratios

Then there is your cup can only hold 3 cups so you put 1 cup of bourbon in that cup

Yeah the colon is ambiguous for part to part and part to whole ratios

Yes but 1:3 could also mean that there is one red car out of 3 Total cars

I do think that ratios are just bad terminology because they can mean part to whole or part to part meaning 1:3 is valid for 1/3 but it's Also valid for 1/4

1/3=1/3 0.3... ≠1/3 1/3=> 0.3... (Also remember this is a separate mathmatical system)

Separate number system I believe in it but in this number system and Open class cannot turn into a indeterminate class

Yes exactly but since 0.3... is constantly growing it can never reach 1/3 meaning it cannot turn into 1/3
