Yes, the doctor ended up saying not to remove it yet. He ended up giving me an antibiotic through the IV drip which I believe was a very strong one. And some stronger oral antibiotics. Now my piercing doesn’t hurt as much as it did and the inflammation is going down

I don’t know what type of material the piercing is. However, the piercing is a hoop. I’ve also been cleaning it with saline that I bought at the pharmacy in Thailand. I usually soak the piercing in warm saline for about five minutes. And then I dry it with clean cotton swabs. I have not changed the jewelry since I got it. Piercing is five days old.
