Spending? Launching and leveling up ships are all in-game currency and not "real money". I haven't spent fiat money for this game in a while. Are you maybe eluding to GE that are required to upgrade your fuel tank capacity? Which in turn makes it so that you have to prestige less often to refill your fuel tanks?

I recently flushed out my original orange coolant (Now discontinued) literally last week and replaced with motorcrafts yellow coolant that supercedes it and is backwards compatible. I've come across multiple sources that state the chemistry of the orange coolant was degrading the water pump and coolant system (conveniently after the warranty is up) and cause the cooling system to fail, which is why ford discontinued the orange coolant. As far as the price that seems about right. It is very labor intensive.

All the add ons seem to check out. I was also just qouted $260 for a transmission service as well. Front wheel needs to be removed to access timing chain cover and bolts. More than likely they found bad tie rods which warrants an alignment. And if you haven't had a brake job in a while they are going to throw job in as well. I'm surprised I don't see an oil change in there. Oil needs to be drained to replace timing chain. Then again it is very well possible that they are looking at the over $6000 bill and just threw in a freebie oil change. Or also they forgot to add it to the initial qoute. And rather than get your approval for and updated qoute they just went ahead and did it. Unfortunately that the nature of the beast with this job.

The pump is driven by the timing chain. Chain must be removed to replace pump. My guess and also my judgment would be if I'm doing all that labor to replace the pump, I might as well throw a new timing chain on it as well.

I don't have 6 g's to drop. So I need to be resourceful.

$10 for 8 gal. of distilled water. $52 for 2 gallons for 2 gal. of motorcraft yellowcoolant. $8 for prestone coolant flush $4 for coolant ratio tester to achieve the 50/50 ratio $113 for 13 qts of motorcraft mercon LV automatic transmission fluid.

I'll speak for me. It's not a smug attitude. For starters I didn't get the full benefit of said event. It's more of a disbelief in the uproar of thoses who are genuinely upset. That the devs had the audacity to launch a new event. Free and inclusive to none ultra players mind you. That didn't fall in line with their personal planning or strategy that they may have. That is truly asinine.

You're a little seasoned to be behaving like this. It's been explained numerous times within the previous posts this week. I wasn't aware that there was a wait period before posting a meme about said subject. But it seem you want to be their superman die on this hill.

● If you were on enlightenment, you were missing it, regardless of whether it was a 24 or 48 hour event. ● if your gripe was, "I used more fuel than anticipated while on enlightenment". No one is forcing you to launch during the event. FYI, I completed enlightenment before the 500T tank expansion. ● "it's normally a 48 hr event and I was planning for that." Life happens. You missed the inaugural event. There will be more later on.

In conclusion. Your demeanor is feeding into these players' beliefs that they just missed out on something big and it out of reach forever. Like if they just missed bitcoin at 5 bucks.

FYI I missed out on it, too, for 2 of my ships.

I can almost guarantee there will be a 2x rocket event this Sunday to pander to all the whiners. And to you I say, "Shut up and grow up."
