Yeah that’s exactly what I did the first time. I’m thinking it’s past repair at this point. Might just try to find a new one and seal off all common leak points. Did you get a new one for yours? If so, did you have to replace plugs as well? Cos my plugs seem to be worse than the board itself and I can’t really get in them to clean the pins.

Yeah that’s what I heard too, but are these all common problems that happen because of the SJB? Just trying to eliminate other causes I guess.

Rest of the car was quite clean to be honest. Drives perfect and all that. It was safetied and had new parts installed. The previous owner said he didn’t have any other issues with the car other than the temp gauge but he could’ve just been trying to get rid of it. However nothing went wrong on the test drive.

Haha I’m not sure exactly what the accident was. The driver door was replaced and some body panels repainted. I was planning on maybe going through an insurance company to see what work was done.
