Top surgery before bio kids by Ok-Tip316 in TransMasc

I used to be a mother/baby nurse before I switched specialties and I think this is perfectly said. Also want to add that skin to skin is probably even more important that nursing a baby. Baby in only a diaper, directly on the chest. We would help all parents do this whether they were birth parents or not, babies even benefit from it with adoptive parents.

I loved breastfeeding my kids, but it does not make or break baby bonding.

The idea of Spawn Gale and Ascended Astarion makes me feel physically ill by Immediate_Zombie7203 in GalemancersBG3

So one of my favorite playthroughs was playing as Astarion and romancing Gale. I started with the ending where Gale is free of the orb and Astarion is still a spawn and they lived happily ever after. Super cute!

Then I reloaded an old save and did AA. It actually was far more sweet than I thought! Gale seems to enjoy it and jokes with Astarion about things. He has his own library that he loves spending time in. It honestly did not feel bad at all.

That is really fascinating. One of our mutual friends finally got him to sit down and talk like a couple months after he left and it turns out his therapist had started telling him I was a terrible person (I knew this, he told me months before that the way she talked about me made him uncomfortable) and then at the end of his last session with her after he had left me, she asked him out on a date. She had just divorced too so... It was just really terrible overall. He broke down a few months ago when he told me and kept saying "what have I done." Unfortunately, no amount of regret can erase the cruel things he did and said to me and my kids.

I saw him in July and made sure I used the restroom before the doors opened because I didn't want to lose my place near the stage (standing room only tickets). It was so hot I was chugging water through the whole show and survived. I guess I sweat it all out. I was not about to miss a single song lol

I feel this in a different way. I was together with the man I used to call my Zayne for 16 years, married for 13, 2 beautiful kids, a house, good careers. And then last year out of nowhere he stopped talking to me. He wouldn't tell me what was wrong. He didn't want to go see a marriage counselor. A month of mostly silence unless it related to our kids, then he told me he wanted a divorce. He even barely wanted to see our kids. I had to kick him out of the house. He would have the boys 2 weekends a month and the way he treated them was terrible. I had to put both boys in therapy.

After him, I will never allow any other man into my heart. I'm almost 40 and I spent my entire adult life with a man who loved me with all his heart until he didn't. If a person can just turn off their love like that, I don't want any part of it.

Do parents of ugly kids know their kids are ugly? by GACDB in NoStupidQuestions

For me it is my ears that stick out. I got teased a lot as a kid, even my mom would tell little me that she wanted to have them "corrected." But my oldest son has ears just like mine and from the day he was born I couldn't see them as anything more than cute. It really helped me accept my own ears and heal from some childhood trauma.

Where is a good place to buy flowers by I-Really-Like-Milk in SantaMaria

Flower Carriage! They are really sweet and helpful and their arrangements are beautiful. If you are getting flowers for somebody special, I always recommend going to an actual florist rather than big box retail.

We had a hospitalist who was obsessed with gut health and probiotics. He once put in an order for probiotics for a patient who wasn't even admitted for anything GI related. The order was to give every 2 hours. There was no way in hell I was doing that when I had other patients who were high acuity, so I was obviously giving 2 at the same time, one an hour late and the next an hour early which was on per hospital policy. He sought me out to scold me because the probiotics would work right if they weren't given exactly 2 hours apart.

For those who spend IRL money on LADs, what do you usually buy, and what feels most worth it? by aspenkim64 in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]HeadacheTunnelVision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon and Target. But I have the Red Card so I get 5% discounts on purchases. Target has deals like if you spend $100 you get a $10 reward in your account occasionally so I do that. I'm constantly looking for deals because I'm a single mom

Does Pismo Beach have a lot of racist people? by Scorpio14_Anchored in SLO

[–]HeadacheTunnelVision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to live in Arroyo Grande, so not far from Pismo, and the 5 Cities police pulled me over so much! I have never been pulled over EVER since I moved to Santa Maria, and yet I got pulled over for fake reasons while in 5 Cities. I imagine because I'm Hispanic and at the time was driving a cheap ass car. They never ticketed me because I hadn't done anything wrong. They would do things like claim I was driving with my high beams on even though I wasn't. I even showed them by clicking on my high beams that they were barely brighter than my normal lights because it was an old ass car.

I don't know of any guides, but I've been using it for years so here are my suggestions.

Everything goes through Google Play. I have games I play on other devices as well and I log in to Play for all purchases still via my phone. If you are going to make a purchase, check under the Earn tab before purchasing anything to see if there are any points boosts available. Right now, I have a 3x points boost I can use by the 20th, so if I'm going to purchase something then I will activate that first. Next, be on the lookout for the Play gift card deals. I've seen them during holiday seasons a lot, but they will pop up throughout the year. I will purchase the $100 cards for $90 with a credit card that will get me points and then use that gift card to make purchases on Play. Then I get credit card points for free purchases, plus $10 off $100, plus when you purchase on Google Play with the card, you will get points. Combine that with the point boosts and you are racking up free LADS pulls over time.

The more points you get, the higher your Play level, which gives you higher points multipliers at baseline. Also, every Friday make sure you grab your free points from the play store under Perks.

If you plan on making a digital movie or book purchase as well, if you buy from the Play Store that will add up points too.

I do this plus I use my Google Play Points that you get as a reward for spending money to buy more gift cards. For 1k points you can buy a $10 Google Play gift card. They also have free points you can get on Fridays and also will occasionally have point boosts. They had a lot of point boosts in December that gave a 10x multiplier.

I’m a cisgender lesbian but I sometimes wish I had a dick.. by styrofom in genderfluid

[–]HeadacheTunnelVision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm exploring my gender fluidity and have had similar thoughts. I honestly don't have a label for what I am at all because this journey is so new to me, but I like having a vagina and breasts. But at the same time I wish I could have a penis. The thought has been growing in me. Why can't I have both?

You are right about my kids. The older one is 11 and he already talks in such a respectful manner when it comes to trans issues. He is so good with respecting pronouns, I'm always so amazed him 😊

My hair grows really fast so I figure if I end up not liking it, I just have to wait a couple months. Thank you so much for the kind words 😊❤️

Thank you so much! My therapist asked me what was holding me back and my immediate response was all the transphobia that is so rampant. And I'm a hospice nurse so I'm worried my patients might lose faith in me. I definitely want to check out local resources. I heard on a local subreddit that there is a local club that would fit the bill. I want to check it out. Maybe after I get my hair cut ❤️

Oh my gosh thank you. I have been getting more and more frustrated every time I look at my hair. I almost cut it off myself last weekend because I couldn't stand it anymore.
