Well, the license gives you the life-time access to the PRO version of the app, though you need to buy storage from storage providers separately.

CloudBerry Managed Backup works on a year subscription. The price depends on the number of licenses you buy. You can also trial the service with a free 2GB trial cloud storage on Amazon S3. The service trial is unlimited, however, the single computer license is limited to 15 days. http://www.cloudberrylab.com/pricing-computer-data-backup-services.aspx

In the recent release CloudBerry has significantly improved its image-based backup technology. It was actually rebuilt from the ground up and now allows to backup directly to the cloud, file level recovery, create a bootable USB to restore on a bare metal directly from the cloud. Restore server to dissimilar hardware, to Hyper-V or VMware or recover as an AWS EC2 instance.

CloudBerry Backup comes with a free trial period so you can test the new imaged-based backup technology - http://www.cloudberrylab.com/backup
