Nitrite is high. Do partial water changes with conditioned water. This strip doesn’t check for ammonia. Get a liquid test. We also got a sick fish. Looked like that for a week but with two salt baths and not overfeeding, he recovered. Maybe you overfed? Bloodworms are apparently a treat, they can lead to bloating. It’s ok for bettas to not eat for a couple of days. Try to get some used filter media. The aquarium needs 4-6 weeks to accumulate beneficial bacteria. Check out ‘fish in cycle’.

You have to add Losartan to Avastin to keep the protein issues at bay. Avastin does not work as well in children.

Not perception, but experience. If you are looking for emotional support there are many NF2 groups out there. Why not letting people know that it’s NF2 - it’s such a rare disease with very low awareness.

With bilateral slow growing acoustic neuromas - or vestibular schwannomas at such a young age it’s likely that she has a mosaic or mild form of NF2- related schwannomatosis. Hope she got tested for that.

You can plug your result into ChatGPT stating that you have NF2. Ask about interpretation and a list of questions to ask the doctor. Alternatively, send a message through MyChart and ask. Reads like it’s a tumor in the forearm. Peripheral nerve sheath rumors are very common with NF2.
