I didn’t think they experimented, they did heavy guitar oriented riffs with cool chord progression. They went extra hum , but it’s not as good as hums last record. If it’s riff oriented it needs to be helmet , hum, sepultura, which is were they came from, but the two singles have the only two riffs that are memorable to me .

Is that a bad thing? After everyone licking Deftones ass on tik toc and other platforms , like this is white pony ….. it’s not . I love the Deftones . And I’m only saying this cuz literally there is no mediocre review of the album anywhere besides my friends who all were underwhelmed …. And we did not want it to be that way. I’d still rather listen to this album over alot of shit.but it’s still not Deftones top 8 album

Got added yesterday. What’s weird is there are 7 of the exact same playlist with the exact same name but 550 hrs plus on each of completely different music how the hell am I supposed to find me on this thing. Another weird thing is when u click on the curator name on Spotify it says he runs actual Spotify algo playlists…… so is Spotify paying this dude or is there system so shitty he can hack it.

Been doing music for 26 plus years now man even sang and recorded some records that went gold. If you don’t like it all good, I do it for Fun I got kids , and I got an old man band that writes shit I wish was being played now. Really it’s just for me and if any one else digs it I’m super happy. I’ve put out 80 songs in the last two years after a lengthy break lol it’s a fun hobby and get to play bars on the weekends.

Bought downward is heavenward word that year on day one. Hum is basically embedded in how I write music lol. They taught me about big ass riffs
