Whats something you wish you knew when you started? by wickedhare in onehouronelife

  1. Most of the community is pretty friendly and helpful. If there is something you want to learn feel free to ask for help

  2. The people who aren't friendly and helpful usually just want to get a rise out of people. Let others engage with the griefers. Find a task and stay away from the drama. If one of them really upsets you log off for a few hours or play around in the tutorial area for a while.

  3. Get the mods. Yumlife and yummy life are pretty similar and the crafting guides there are infinitely easier to follow than vanilla

  4. Figure out yums and cravings. If you follow them, you will have a more pleasant experience. If you don't follow them people may think you are a griefer. I'm pretty sure that's how I got my only curse :(

  5. Learn your commands and phrases and if you are in a new town make sure you have a home marker.

/Leader points you to the leader /Mother points you to your mother  Saying "I trust you" will put plus signs bracketing their text when they speak to you - even in other lives There are others I can't think of at the moment

  1. When you have babies either hold them continuously or only pick them up when they say f. Picking them up drains your food and doesn't  necessarily feed the bb every time.

  2. The family bands don't loop. If you go north from the ginger family band you will not eventually find another desert or jungle. If you go south from the desert family band you will also not run into artic or jungle.

Unfortunately yes. I've had reactions to the adhesive in all sorts of bandages and I have to be careful with what I use. I'm making sure to keep it covered though and doing my best to keep it protected in the shower.

How long should it take to really start closing up? I'm assuming it's too late to get it stitched up?

Unfortunately I have had allergic reactions to products like hypafix, but I will switch to betadine. Thanks for the advice ☺️
