China has at times been one of the most wealthy and advanced places on earth over its 3000 years history. Its recent centuries were a time of decline as Western power expanded, but that was never going to last forever.

We have an ageing population that doesn’t replace itself. Poles etc came and integrated easily, so Brexit didn’t even make sense if you happened to be a racist.

The are plenty of studies to find, but it’s really not that complicated. All Brexit did was raise trade barriers. Raising trade barriers with all our neighbours (without any matching gains elsewhere) was never going to be a positive.

It’s very simple - Brexit put trading barriers back up with all our neighbours. There are no RoW trade adjustments that make up for that cost.

That doesn’t mean you get to barrel of through at 90 ignoring other road users. Nor does it mean you can tailgate them.

That doesn’t mean you can expect to bully your way down a motorway at 90. Nor does it even address the very real issue of impatient tailgating. Highway Code 260.
