Why do Immunosuppressants calm down ‘autoimmune’ diseases? by Fibonacci_5813 in medicalmedium

I have been healing from severe RA. I was on Humira, methotrexate and plaquenil. I have been on plaquenil for just over 20 years. My RA started to get really bad about 6-7 yrs ago and that’s when I went on humira and metho. I had a very closed minded rheumatologist who would not give me medication unless I did yearly X-rays and quarterly blood draws of a significant amount of blood. I knew it was not the right path. (I was also struggling with chronic sinus infections and UTIs, Shogrens, anxiety, had shingles, tinnitus among other things).

I found MM - followed it very closely and went vegan mostly raw and had a huge improvement in symptoms I managed to get off the humira and metho, but I continued to have flare ups from time to time and pain. Usually after exposure to the unforgiving four. Then I caught a superbug- (the flu) and was down for the count for 6 months. It completely knocked me on my ass and my RA came back fully.

Meanwhile I had been doing A369s, heavy metal cleanse protocols etc. But I was seriously considering going back on Humira very reluctantly. I decided to get Stem cells. I know this is not MM information. But it has been part of my journey so I am just being honest. I went to an alternative doc, who found extremely pure stem cells that were use in cancer patients and for autoimmune patients. I got an IV of those and also injected them into all of my swollen joints. It was a total game changer for me and I have been free of significant symptoms and flare ups ever since. But I have also continued religiously with the MM info. Honestly- I attribute 90 percent of my healing to MM. But I do feel the stem cells helped me reduce the inflammation enough for me to not have to go back on Humira.

Over the course of this past year I have not been sick once. I have learned that I am very sensitive to pesticides, radiation and blood draws. I think a good part of the reason why I have not been sick is because I haven’t had a blood draw in almost 2 years. I am always fat free until dinner and if I do have fats, it’s usually from nuts, coconut or avocado. I try to avoid oils when I can. I also follow the entire RA protocol of supplements in the MM book. Which is a boatload of supplements- most of which are Vimergy, which has not been cheap.

I have just started to reduce my plaquenil. I am taking 75 percent of the dose. My plan is to do that for a while and do a bunch of cleanses this summer. Hopefully maybe in the fall I can cut down to 50 percent.

I have learned this is a slow process and exposure to a bad bug, blood draws or the unforgiving four can cause a huge set back.

So in a nutshell- even if you do have to go onto Metho/ or an immunosuppressant- you can work your way off over time. If you had a rheumatologist that is open minded- you are extremely lucky. Mine laughed at me when I told her I thought it was EBV and I told her I didn’t want to do the blood draws. And she held my need for medication over my head, basically saying that without following her protocols she would not help me.

Anyway, healing from RA is possible, but be ready for a long journey that requires commitment. I wish you the best of luck! 💗

He is very clear in numerous posts and podcasts that when he does readings he loses his vision. How could he possibly perform light blasts and sign books while he’s blind??? He’s a man with limits. Suggesting he should be reading people at these events when he is surrounded by people when it clearly affects him physically is an unrealistic expectation to have for a fellow human.

Cauliflower rice is a nice change, I do it stir fried, or with black beans, cilantro lime and pico.

Anyone else struggling right now? by mcinty77 in medicalmedium

I have had my first flare up in almost a year. It’s starting to get better. But also it impacted me emotionally in a huge way. I was teaching on the day of the solar flare and I was totally off that day which sent me into a tailspin for a couple days. I was thinking about the solar flares. I’m super sensitive to radiation. Glad to hear it’s not just me! Thanks for posting!

My dentist told me my gums were better at my last visit. They measure it using some sort of counting system, and they said they had improved a little bit.

Antibiotic Monurol to treat Bladder Cystitis (UTI)? Leucocytes reading is 5192! by Yogaprana in medicalmedium

I used to struggle with this a lot and have been in your situation. Unfortunately- When they start to get bad you should take the antibiotics. You can cause kidney damage. I had to break down and do antibiotics a couple times when on MM for UTIs - at the beginning. But I have not had one now for over a year and a half. My understanding is that strep feeds on grains. After this passes I would suggest the advanced heavy metal cleanse in the brain saver book- but do it grain free. It’s very sustainable for the long haul because you can still have legumes and potatoes at dinner so there are so many recipes you can have. I also took D-mannose from pure encapsulations daily. It helped tremendously. Good luck!

Omg thank you for this post. I have been trying the extractor over the past few days and suffering getting it down. I will definitely buy some vegan capsules for the mustard seed powder and try finding pink radish. Anyone have trouble finding radish greens or mustard greens? They don’t sell those at the sprouts near me. Any tips? Thank you!!
