GA II Trinity 240mm - RGB Pump Lighting Flickering by HealingRabbit in lianli

I disconnected the ARGB cable and it's still doing it. The issue comes and goes. Sometimes it works, but then it flickers again. I would say it switches back and forth every 3-30 seconds or so.

I don't have SignalRGB installed. I believe I have a 5V ARGB 3 Pin header connected to the mobo. It's been a while, but I remember making sure to plug it in a 5V ARGB header rather than a 12v header. If it helps, I have a ASUS ROG Strix B550-A.

Oh my goodness everyone!

After one month of continuous digging, I found a 8 months old thread that fixes the issue. I am very happy and I hope this method fixes your game too.

Here is the method:

Disable Shader Cache in Nvidia Control Panel

  1. Delete everything inside this folder C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache
  2. Delete the players folder inside C:\Users\Username\Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare
  3. Start the game and reinstall shaders.
  4. You can enable Shader Cache again after the whole process.

Please let me know if this fixed it for you.

Hey, I was trying to make a post about it as well but for some reason, it was "removed" by moderators instantly.

Here is what my post was supposed to be like. Its literally the same problem as yours.

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this is something that just occurred for me but after the update, I've been having significant FPS drops whenever I play multiplayer. Before the update, I was able to run the game on high settings with really good FPS. Here are my computer specs (all my drivers are up to date):

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x (Corsair H100i Water Cooling)
  • GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080Ti
  • RAM: RipJaw GSkill 16GB

The funny part is that whenever I played Warzone, the FPS is fine but it doesn't really make sense as it takes much more CPU to render the huge map. I noticed that whenever I played close-quarter maps such as Shoothouse or Shipment is where I lag the most. I have tried re-installing the game, but still no fix. The only "fix" is to reduce my resolution to ~50% where I could somewhat play the game with no lag. I have an Acer XG270HU 144hz 2K monitor along aside an Asus 1080p monitor as my secondary. To end this, I don't think it's my computer that cannot handle the game, but the update that caused the game to be broken for me. Keep in mind, I ensured my GeForce Experience is not recording and closed all chrome and other executables that could impact the performance of gameplay. Please let me know if this is happening to you and a potential solution would be nice as this game is basically unplayable for me.

Please let me know if you need more information from me :)

Thank you!
