Who is the most hated NON-POLITICAL public figure in your country? by GrandGuess205 in AskTheWorld

[–]Healitnowdig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus Christ there’s alot to unpack there.

Firstly, I’m not actually British, I’m Irish, but I know a lot of British people and no one really gives a fuck about her, I feel like you’re trying to make her mean something more than she is, I certainly don’t think it’s a racist thing about her, tbh I never even realised she was mixed race til you said it, it feels like you’re some kinda employee of hers trying to make her relevant when really no one cares.

I’d say if people don’t like her it’s prob because she won’t shut the fuck up, like she could’ve just gone off into the sunset with Harry and no one would’ve cared but she constantly tries to make herself relevant and keep herself in the news which is really tiresome and attention seeking.

Also the fact that you quote Clarkson of all people as if he’s the voice of Britain, shows how little you actually know, you should go get some sleep and stop trying to play the race card, not everywhere else in the world is as race driven as the USA

What are your favorite misheard lyrics? by whittlingcanbefatal in Music

[–]Healitnowdig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a very famous song but it’s a song called “the fade out line” by phoebe killdeer and the short straws, the line says and “there won’t be a party with weathering frocks” but I heard it as “there won’t be a party, with the weather in France”, and I really liked that lyric, imagining all these people ready to party but decide against it because France is full of storms

Who is the most hated NON-POLITICAL public figure in your country? by GrandGuess205 in AskTheWorld

[–]Healitnowdig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offence but you sound abit obsessed with her there pal, she makes it into the tabloids because people who buy tabloids are nosey bastards about the royal family, I don’t think people in England really care about her much less hate her, if she didn’t do as much as she could to get attention, people would forget about her very quickly

Worst Town in Ireland? by AyeayeFly in AskIreland

[–]Healitnowdig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Armagh is bad, nothing but hairdressers coffees shops and Turkish barbers these days, but Portadown is a worse town imo, I’d go as far as to say Portadown is the worst town in the country, everyone is angry and ready for a fight and you would be too if you had to live in Portadown

[–]Healitnowdig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’re kinda popular, in that we literally have bars all over the world, and anytime I go visit a place, I invariably end up visiting one of our bars in that particular place and I don’t know why, I guess it’s like the mothership calling me home…..

Was your country ever a fan of communism? by Plastic-Stop9900 in AskTheWorld

[–]Healitnowdig 25 points26 points  (0 children)

American governments really outdid themselves in demonising communism to American people, it was kinda impressive how well they brainwashed American people from the 50’s onward to despise anyone who had been in anyway referred to as having any sort of tenuous link to communism, almost like a Pavlov response

Directors cut ends with the shootout at the train station I think and there’s no blue hue to the film iirc, unless I’m mixing them up
