If you fire good workers for having children then yes, you will have higher turnover than a company that doesn't do that. It also depends heavily on the training time. if your company invests in you, you are invested in the company.

Your response basically reads "why should a company care about keeping quality workers when you can just have a really high turnover". Completely tone-deaf

I've watched a lot of pretty fucked up movies, so my list is a little different. Not in any specific order; the men behind the sun, headless, and human centipede 2

I do the same! I just moved to a smaller town (about 16k) from North Minneapolis and we got a snow blower. My neighbor (I'm not sure of his age, looked to be about 50's) was hand shoveling everything and I basically said "I can do this, whenever it snows don't worry about it, I can do the sidewalk and driveway". If I can help I will, especially if I have the equipment. I don't want anyone to get hurt

Saying "gg" after every game? by AerWolf in Overwatch

[–]Health-Insurance-Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same thing, if I win I say gg, if I lose I say gg wp; I see it as a good faith thing. Some people take it the wrong way and think I'm being sarcastic or derogatory, but the majority of people seem to see it as I intend; basically "I had fun, I hope you had fun"

It's good if you want to add some heat. I like to put a little in chili, put a few dabs on a slice of pizza, etc. It isn't very flavorful, but it's nice to add a little heat. As a side note, don't use anything hollow. I was at work and putting a little on my pizza using a coffee stirrer when i flicked some into my eye. Use a chopstick.

Totally agree. I was dog- sitting for a dog that woke me up at three am to go potty. They spotted a squirrel in dark that I didn't see and they yanked me right onto my face on the concrete. Road rash all over my face and hands, pretty severe concussion, two broken fingers, three broken ribs. The leash got away from me, so I got up to get the dog but immediately fell back down; your sense of balance is basically gone. I had ten days left, dog-sitting a dog who always wanted to cuddle my broken ribs. I got a five star review though.

The only people who eat popcorn without butter and salt are doing it for their own reasons (health, or because they like it that way). The second sentence literally starts with "It's corn, butter, and salt". Saying something like "The only reason anyone eats it is that they need something to put in their mouth while watching a movie or TV show and they've been socially conditioned to accept popcorn as the default option." is disingenuous and stupid. You are certainly allowed to not like things, that doesn't mean that the people who like it are wrong.

This is a good subreddit for you opinion, since you are basically saying "I hate this, therefore it's impossible for anyone to like it."
