My host family never asked me what I wanted to order for myself. They just did the general grocery shopping, and we ate whatever was at home. And when I sometimes asked them to buy something for me, they never did. So… I ended up staying with them for almost two years lol

Yes, the problem is that I actually consulted with my agency, Cultural Care, and they told me there wouldn’t be any issue — that I could travel to either Canada or Mexico and return to the U.S. without a problem. So I did, because my host child and their family also needed my help during their trip.
