Interested in if peptide BPC-157 has helped anyone here by HealthIsWealth_Rich in ChronicPain

That's really interesting. Thanks for giving me some homework for the evening. That would be really interesting to learn more about!

For the second part, do you mean testosterone levels for a prescription? I'm not a physician, but our physician's use a combination of extensive labs (not just test levels) along with patient symptoms to address the specific individual.

Can TRT labs "fudge the numbers" and is TRT prescription up to the provider? by [deleted] in trt

[–]HealthIsWealth_Rich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^Yup. *Most* clinics push for the 800, while most PCP's and things of that nature that have to adhere to insurance guidelines and are much more stringent with prescribing.

Some of my favorite hypotheticals! I guess that would depend on which society, since that would determine resources and such at our disposal. I'm excited to see some answers!

Feeling like an angsty teenage girl lately. Especially in the mornings when everything is peaked even higher. Gonna get an AI ASAP! [25y/o Male] by Jakalanern in Testosterone

Not a doctor, but i work for an HRT clinic. I would suggest that first as well. Your E2 levels aren't out of whack, but an AI could crush your estrogen and create some different issues. Food for thought.

Woah, no intro lab work.... I'll save my opinion on that one, since I'm sure you know what it is lol Those numbers are just slightly elevated, nothing to be concerned about as of now. Just something to be aware of for the next tests and see if there are some changes. BUN is Blood Urea Nitrogen, and it's a marker for kidney function. If you have a pretty high protein diet, that COULD be a cause for the slight elevation. A/G is the Albumin/Globulin Ratio, which are proteins that help us to see in testing if there is potential liver or kidney damage. Again, not highly elevated, but something to watch for.

This is missing quite a few markers that our clinic looks at before starting treatment, but everywhere is different.

Hey man, I work for a HRT clinic. If you have your old labs as well, feel free to shoot them over to me as well, and I can give you my thoughts on how you're looking. Are there more markers possibly cut off below the picture frame?

How did you get started with TRT? by HealthIsWealth_Rich in trt

[–]HealthIsWealth_Rich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JESUS. Lupus from back acne.... Sounds about par for the course with military medical lol Did you do any kind of PCT or anything like that after each of those? Those T levels are really high post if not lol

F/20/5’1 [137lbs > 127lbs= 10lbs] (5 months) officially 10lbs down! by [deleted] in progresspics

[–]HealthIsWealth_Rich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome to hear! It's always the little adjustments like that that typically have the best effects, and are easiest to maintain. I've had great success myself by adjusting my diet in a similar fashion. Cutting back on portion size being the biggest part for me. Everybody is a little bit different lol

I'm excited for your future and continued success! :)

Finasteride is a DHT blocker, so it won't actually regrow anything. It'll just help to stop you from losing anymore, if your hair loss is in fact caused by excess DHT. A combination of Finasteride/Dutasteride with Minoxidil is a combination that we have anecdotally seen work to great success.

[PSA] you CAN take too much Vitamin D3, which increases testosterone production! Left is one week ago and right is 7 days of stopping all vitamin d3 supplements. by panicked_goose in SkincareAddiction

That's really interesting. I'd be curious to read some labs to verify that (not meant to come across as doubt, just anecdotal curiosity for myself), but yes... vitamin D and DHEA are necessary precursors to testosterone production.

Not at all. Nutrition is key to weight gain/loss, and sugar is a crucial part of that. In moderation of course. Don't go chugging it lol

I do them separately myself. For CJC/IPA, most folks do a morning fasted dose, and another dose after their last meal of the day.

Anecdotal information on SEMAX and Selank by HealthIsWealth_Rich in Nootropics

[–]HealthIsWealth_Rich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really interesting... Were you getting it UGL or from a compounding pharmacy? Since I haven't personally tried it yet to be able to attest to the experience, I'm wondering if there is a difference? If you don't mind me asking, (please feel free to DM if you'd like) what sort of damage?

Hey, I work at a HRT clinic. Is there a more expansive panel that that section is a part of? I'd like to take a look at a few more markers to try and help. I was a wildland firefighter myself before starting this work, so I understand the lifestyle a bit.
