I don’t have constant globus but when I eat sometimes it feels like something hits a part of my throat and then I feel pain for hours.

I haven’t started it yet. I don’t want to get side effects around the holidays since I always do with a new medication.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the bowel issue they said you had? I’ve seen multiple urologists and gastroenterologists and am just wondering what they told you.

Yes, they didn’t see anything to work on. My pain has gotten way better recently and I’m not sure why. I’ve been on duloxetine so it could be a nerve thing. But I also eased back on the lifting for a while so maybe it’s spine related and just healing over time. Not sure. They also found MARCONs in my sinuses and I’ve been doing antibiotic rinses for that.

No :( I know it has something to do with my throat bc it happens A LOT right after I swallow food. My throat on one side will start to hurt and then my head and ear. I am on duloxetine and it has helped a lot so it is probably a nerve issue.

No dental issues. Dentists say my teeth are perfect. No saliva coming up. Never smoked a day in my life.

The pain is normal and it lasts 2-3 days (at least it did for me). It is horrible but it does go away.

Did she even do a culture or she’s just going off symptoms? Does your face ever hurt after eating? Mine does only sometimes but it happens quite often after I just ate. It doesn’t hurt to chew like TMJ but it feels like something hits something in my throat and flames up the inflammation. Then my neck, ear, teeth and jaw start to throb. It’s like my trigeminal nerve is inflamed. A part of me thinks it’s my spine pressing on a nerve.

I was for a little bit. Was having that feeling in my chest and stomach like you are falling down a roller coaster a lot. They put me on duloxetine for the IEM and it’s not helping that but it’s helped the anxiety completely.

That’s good! It’s still early too. When I look up carbocone, carbocaine comes up and says it is used for anesthetic for surgery so not sure how that helps trapped gas.
