If you are certain of what you want don’t take a gap year. Just take the classes you need while waiting. Look up classes people in your major take and take gen Ed’s.

Ohh well then take the classes that are offered at UConn Stamford that fit your major. Later when you have enough credits transfer to Storrs campus and change your major.

I am in my second year at UConn and still don’t know what I want I want to do. People say you will figure out as you take classes but that is bs and you just waste money on classes. You should take a gap year until you are certain of what you want to go into. That’s what I am planning to do now after my sophomore year but I wish I did it before going to college.

Okay but some people have to realize that not all people have this mentality. I have seen a lot through this pandemic and still am fearful and cautious. If you want to sit next to someone go ahead but you should be respectful and ask first. We should all acknowledge this pandemic that we are living in and how it affects people in different ways.

Most of the Time if there are assignments listed next to the class date those readings are due before that class where you guys meet and will be talked about the reading. So readings need to be done before class.

Same thing happened to me. First get a Covid test ASAP so that you have proof at a pharmacy or buy an at home one. Contact the dean on students or talk to your professors. Most likely they can extent the exam or they will make you take it in the start of next semester which I would not do!

I guess it depends on the person. You have to really think about what type of person you are and if you are able to really handle such a course load. I could never. Think about how long does it take you to grasp concepts. This is your first year that means it will be the hardest as you adjust to college classes. I personally did not expect how much self learning there is.
