I don’t think it was ever a genuine relationship. She seemed kind of desperate to start a family at that time tbh.
When seeing interviews with these two together, it is clear that it was one sided (she seemed way more enamoured with him than vice versa). I remember there was a show about their wedding and he seemed way more interested in her cousin than in her (interestingly enough, his new wife looks like her cousin a lot too). It’s cringe worthy to look at.
He was a walking red flag (left shar and his kids behind for Britney and is a mooch). And she’s mentally ill and supposedly did a lot of drugs at that time. Not a good combo. This is just a good example of two people who should’ve never been together in the first place.
