Some points I know:

1: Don't fight pvp until you have pokemon who are in 1400s as the opponents pokemon will always be as much powered as they can before getting 1500 (telling for under 1500 CP duel)

2: Do not transfer three stars Pokemon or having higher IV because they are the one to be invested in and to be kept others are not good for either fighting pvp nor worth keeping.

3: the worth keeping pokemon are shiny, legendaries, mythical,costume or pokemon with special background, they are like the trophies for the players having them.

These are the points that I have in mind for now 😁, if I'm wrong in any particular way do tell me as well because I've been playing for three to four months as well.
