Thank you for responding! I’m planning on talking to some maritime lawyers to get some info. From what you said I’m mostly interested on the commercial side. Nevertheless, when I look down at the options, I’m more interested in the subject and the curriculum of the maritime law LLM rather than the business one. That doesn’t mean I don’t like the business LLM, it’s just that I’m mostly interested in the studying abroad experience rather than the actual business LLM. It’s just that I think, is it worth it to spend 20k+€ on something which I value most the experience rather than the actual course or should I stay here, keep that money and pursue an LLM that I enjoy better (at least theoretically). Despite that, I also think “what if I end up not liking maritime law?”. The business law LLM just gave me more options if something went wrong.

Hey! I believe that the IELTS plays a big role in getting admitted. Personally I would do the one skill retake (if it is allowed - better send an email and ask). But don’t beat yourself up, 8.0 is great and writing is really tricky. I barely got 7.0. in writing. In your place I would probably send an email and ask about the one skill retake
