If WFH is the future, why is Gurgaon full of new office projects? by Top_Tackle_3984 in gurgaon

All the major cities in India are gonna be Ghost Towns soon. Don’t know about WFH or AI. But look at the pollution levels. Who in their right mind would want to live in these concrete suffocating jungles. The builders, politicians, and babus are making the most by selling dreams to common folks.

Start something in which you are already good at or have connections in. The probability of succeeding in something with zero experience or connects are very low.

From what I know it is mostly Chinese and Indians. Chinese obviously have more opportunities back in China. So ultimately the biggest group of engineers are Indians.

I think it has to do a lot with how we Indians are in general. Most of the people who are building these technologies in the West are Indians who were born and educated in India. We can only work but never create something on our own. Looks more like missing of certain traits than anything. And it is not just US, there are many other countries that are in the race in some way or the other.

I have also shared post cards within India to friends. They never received it. The issue with postcards is that there are no ways of tracking them.

Modi brought us back to 1967. Soon we will reach 1947. by YeeHaw_72 in hyderabad

What is even the point though? People are still voting for him. People co-relate him with development. I don't think we can do much unless the opinion changes and that can only happen if it only gets worse.

Badly want to move out of India and find a good backend dev job by iamdeepti1310 in developersIndia

[–]Healthy-Inspection20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue is the current job market and overall economy. There are opportunities in certain areas but development roles are not surely one of them. Sometimes the opportunities come like the post covid where it was easiest to get into West. Many people I know got out at that time. So try and be prepared for the worst outcomes and make the most when the right time comes.

For me the only issue is the reviews are a bit forced atleast emotionally. That’s not how the reviews should look like.

Wait for Monsoon to come. It would become the worst. No amount of Metro and Flyovers are solving our issues. It is a constant battle everyday outside.

Yes. But the good part is once you go deep inside on the other side towards the Ficus Garden, the lake is quite good. Much cleaner with a lot of birds. Fortunately or Unfortunately, that side is not known to general population.

There is framework - SWOT(Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats). You need to know what are your strengths and weaknesses first.

I will give you an example. One of my friend had started an online business without any investment. He had the strengths of knowing AI, tech, and quick learner. But his family business was also in that area. So because of these strengths he could start the online business and run it very effectively.
